He has more than 28 years of rich experience both in Industry and in academia. He has earlier been associated with IIM Jammu as Professor; MIT World Peace University, Pune as Pro Vice Chancellor; BIMTECH as Professor & Dean, Development; Jaipuria Institute of Management as Director at Noida and Jaipur campus; IMT Ghaziabad as Professor of Economic, Environment & Strategy (& founding member of IMT-Dubai) and with GITAM Institute of Foreign Trade from where he started his journey in academia. Prior to academia, he has worked with The Times Group in their transformative years, and The Statesman. Dr Thakur is a PhD in Economics and MBA from DMS, IIT Delhi and is an alumnus of Delhi University. He has done his Graduation and Post-Graduation in Economics. He is actively involved in research & publication & has presented papers in international and national journals & international and national conferences.
