IIM Sirmaur Master of Business Administration is the flagship master’s level programme, leading to the grant of a degree of Master of Business Administration (MBA). The Master of Business Administration is a two-year, full time residential programme with wide range of specializations. 

IIM Sirmaur has MoU with The Emirates Academy of Hospitality Management, Dubai, United Arab Emirates for educational and academic exchanges; with SDA Bocconi School of Management, Milan, Italy for conduct of three-week international immersion program for MBA students of IIM Sirmaur. In India, IIM Sirmaur has Institutional partnerships with The Institute of Company Secretaries of India; Goethe Institute; Edcil (India); NS Raghavan Centre for Entrepreneurial Learning at IIM Bangalore;  Digital Depositories in NAD (NSDL); Wadhwani Foundation among others

IIM Sirmaur has an invigorating curriculum for MBA programme. IIM Sirmaur MBA is a two-year, full time residential programme. The first year coursework is spread over three terms. It comprises core courses that explain the fundamental concepts of management across the different functional areas. The courses in the first year curriculum are mandatory for all the students. The first year coursework is followed by a summer internship. During the summer internship, students are required to work on an industry project with an organization for a period of eight to ten weeks. The summer placement is an integral part of the Master of Business Administration. The Placement Office assists the students in finding suitable summer assignments.

The second year coursework is spread over the next three terms (Term IV to Term VI). The second year students are offered elective courses across different functional areas such as marketing, finance, economics, strategy, decision sciences, analytics, information technology, organizational behaviour, human resources, operations & supply chain. The students can opt for elective courses based on their preferences, insofar as they fulfil the minimum credit requirements for the programme. The participants who successfully fulfil all the requirements of the programme are awarded the 'MBA Degree'.

Application process for admission at IIM Sirmaur opens with the start of CAT registration process. Candidates have to apply for CAT by the last date. There is no need to apply and pay separately for IIM Sirmaur Admission at this stage.

Admission/Selection Process for Candidates for MBA program at IIM Sirmaur is through CAT Exam and IIM CAP PI round. The selection of the candidates for admission to the MBA at IIM Sirmaur is a three-step process- Pre shortlisting, Shortlisting, and participation in IIM CAP PI round

In the first step, candidates are screened as per the IIM Sirmaur admission policy on performance in CAT exam and in the second step they are considered on various parameters for shortlisting for Common Admission Process (CAP) comprising Personal Interview (PI) from among the candidates who have a valid CAT score, who have applied to the programme and who satisfy the eligibility criteria for the programme. After the PI round, IIM Sirmaur prepares merit list for final admission as per its final selection weightages. Detailed Admission process is as below:

The candidate must have appeared and scored the minimum required percentile in CAT. Candidates are short-listed for CAP round at common CAT cut offs (94 Percentile last year). CAP is the common PI round for all the CAP participating IIMs.
Candidates are shortlisted from among the candidates who have a valid CAT score, who have applied to the programme and have their interest and who satisfy the eligibility criteria for the programme  
In addition to the Common Admission Process, IIM Sirmaur will conduct an additional Supernumerary Admission Process (SAP) for candidates especially girl students who meet IIM Sirmaur eligibility criteria at a reduced CAT cut off in shortlisting (80 percentile last year) but do not meet the CAP cut off criteria.
Towards its commitment for promoting gender equity, IIM Sirmaur reserves 50 of the seats for female students. Even though the institute may conduct a separate supernumerary admission interview process to fill these seats reserved for female candidates, the first preference would be given to the qualified female candidates through the CAP process.
After the PI round, IIM Sirmaur will award weightages to various parameters and admission offers are made by IIM Sirmaur to successful candidates.
The final selection is based on a diverse set of attributes which includes performance in CAT, performance in CAP/SAP round, academics, co-curricular and extra-curricular achievements, work experience among others
Admission offer letter would be sent to all successful candidates. Candidates, who are offered admission, need to confirm their acceptance by completing all the required formalities by the stipulated date

Register and apply for CAT exam by paying the requisite application fee for the exam. On the page 4 of CAT application form, you need to select IIM Sirmaur MBA and other programs and select the interview city. Your application for IIM Sirmaur admission is submitted. At this stage, you do not need to apply and pay separately for IIM Sirmaur Admission. After declaration of CAT exam result, you can check at IIM Sirmaur as well as IIM CAP website whether you are shortlisted by entering your CAT registration ID and password. You may need to register at IIM Sirmaur website to reconfirm your interest for IIM Sirmaur admission.
