SNAP exam pattern 2026: Based on previous exam trends, SNAP 2026 exam pattern shall be divided into three sections with total 60 questions, to be solved in 60 minutes. SNAP test pattern includes following three sections: a) General English, b) Quantitative, Data Interpretation & Data Sufficiency and c) Analytical & Logical Reasoning. Each Section has different number of questions and there is no section wise time limit. Reading Comprehension questions have not appeared in recent SNAP exams. Based on previous years’ papers, SNAP 2026 marking scheme is as follows:
SNAP marking scheme awards +1 mark for every correct answer
SNAP marking scheme deducts 0.25 marks for every incorrect answer
There are no non-MCQ questions in SNAP. All 60 questions are MCQs with 4 answer options. This makes negative marking a key factor in calculating the final score.
SNAP Exam English Section is officially called “General English, Reading Comprehension and Verbal Ability” section. However, no questions related to Reading Comprehension have appeared in the SNAP 2025, SNAP 2024 or SNAP 2023 exams. Out of total 60 questions in SNAP 2025 exam, there were 20 questions in this section. All questions were on Mathematics and there was no question on Data Interpretation and Data Sufficiency. SNAP Exam Reasoning Section is officially called “Analytical & Logical Reasoning” section. SNAP Analytical & Logical Reasoning section had 25 questions out of total 60 questions. In SNAP 2025 paper, out of the 25 questions in this section, 9 questions were on Verbal Reasoning and the remaining 16 were on Non-Verbal Reasoning. All questions were single questions and there were no set based questions. In SNAP 2024 exam, out of the 25 questions in this section, 11 questions were on Verbal Reasoning and the remaining 14 were on Non-Verbal Reasoning. Detailed breakup of questions is given below.
