SNAP 2026 Answer Key: Will SIU Release the Official Answer Key and Response Sheet?

SNAP 2026 answer key (official) is not released by SIU. Symbiosis does not publish a question-wise official answer key or an individual response sheet for SNAP, and this has been the practice since the exam moved to a multi-session, multi-attempt format. After the exam, aspirants rely on memory-based answer keys prepared by coaching institutes to estimate their raw score and probable percentile, while SIU directly declares the SNAP result and scorecard on its official website.

SNAP is held across three separate test sessions, and a candidate can attempt the exam up to three times. As per the official bulletin, if a candidate appears for more than one test, the higher score is considered for the final percentile calculation. Because each session uses a different question paper and candidates choose when and how often to appear, publishing a single official answer key per session would not give an apples-to-apples picture of an individual's standing The official SNAP bulletin also notes that the question papers are normalised for difficulty across all three tests so that no candidate gains or loses an unfair advantage by choosing a particular session. Given this design, SIU declares the result directly rather than putting out a provisional answer key for challenge.

This is where SNAP stands apart. Several other MBA entrance exams like CAT exam and XAT exam display a provisional answer key and recorded responses, and even allow candidates to challenge answers before the final result. 

SNAP, by contrast, follows a no-release policy for both the answer key and the response sheet. Similarly NMAT by GMAC exam also doesn’t release answer key.

MBA experts and coaching mentors will recall that SNAP did release answer keys until 2019, when it was a single-attempt examination. With a single paper and a single attempt, publishing an answer key was straightforward. 

From 2020 onwards, SNAP shifted to a multi-session model with multiple attempts, and the official answer key release was discontinued. So if you find references online to a "downloadable SNAP answer key," they typically point either to the pre-2020 era or to memory-based keys created by coaching institutes, not to an official SIU document.

Since there is no official key, the SNAP aspirants often rely on memory-based answer keys. These are compiled by leading coaching institutes such as IMS, TIME, and Career Launcher based on questions recalled by candidates who appear in each session. After SNAP 2025, for instance, memory-based answer keys were circulated for Test 1, Test 2 and Test 3.

A memory-based SNAP 2026 answer key is useful for three reasons:

• Score estimation: You can roughly calculate your raw score out of 60 by matching your attempts against the recalled correct options.
• Difficulty assessment: It helps gauge how tough or easy a particular session was — useful context when interpreting your eventual percentile.
• Cut-off prediction: It feeds into percentile and cut-off predictors that estimate your chances at SIU constituent institutes such as SIBM Pune, SCMHRD and SIIB.

Aspirants should treat these SNAP memory based answer keys as indicative, not authoritative. They are not verified by SIU, and often contain minor errors.

To use any memory-based answer key sensibly, you need to know the SNAP exam pattern and structure. As per the official bulletin, SNAP is a Computer Based Test of 60 minutes carrying 60 questions for 60 marks across three sections:

• General English (Reading Comprehension, Verbal Reasoning, Verbal Ability): 15 questions, 15 marks
• Analytical & Logical Reasoning: 25 questions, 25 marks
• Quantitative, Data Interpretation & Data Sufficiency: 20 questions, 20 marks

Each correct answer carries 1 mark, and each wrong answer attracts 25% negative marking (0.25 mark deducted). Every question has four options, and candidates may attempt the sections in any order. Knowing this marking scheme is essential. So when you self-score using a memory-based key, remember to subtract 0.25 for every wrong attempt to arrive at a realistic raw score.

Even without a published answer key, the SNAP result is transparent. SIU declares the result as a percentile on snaptest.org. If a candidate appears in more than one session, the higher score is taken for the final percentile. For SNAP 2025, the result was declared on January 9, 2026.

At the admission stage, the SNAP score (out of 60) is scaled down to 50 marks and combined with the Group Exercise and Personal Interaction (GE-PI) round. As per the official merit-list structure, the final selection weightage is: SNAP score 50, Group Exercise 10, and Personal Interaction 40, totalling 100. This is why your eventual SNAP percentile and the GE-PI performance matter far more than any post-exam answer-key estimate.

Since there is no official SNAP answer key to wait for, channel that energy productively:

• Use a memory-based key only for a rough self-check, then move on.
• Decide on your second or third attempt early. With up to three attempts allowed and the best score counting, plan your sessions strategically rather than reacting to an imagined key.
• Prepare for GE-PI in parallel. Half your final score sits outside the written test, so start group exercise and interview prep before the result.
• Track your target institutes' cut-offs. Focus on the percentile required at SIBM Pune, SCMHRD and other SIU institutes rather than on raw answers.
• Plan next MBA entrance exam: Candidates should check MBA entrance exam calendar and prepare for next exams like XAT and CMAT.
