TSICET Exam Pattern

TSICET 2022 (Telangana State Integrated Common Entrance Test -TSICET) exam dates are July 27 & 28, 2022. The test is scheduled in morning and evening sessions.

TSICET is conducted across the State of Telangana as online test in 14 cities located in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. TSICET is a computer based test and is conducted by Kakatiya University, Warangal on behalf of Telangana State Council of Higher Education, Hyderabad for admission into M.B.A. and M.C.A. courses of all the Universities in Telangana State and their affiliated colleges.

TSICET 2022 exam is scheduled as online computer based test on following dates and time:

1. TSICET Exam pattern: Highlights

  • The TSICET exam pattern is an online computer based test.
  • The TSICET 2022 Exam pattern paper will consist of 200 objective type multiple choice questions.
  • The TSICET  pattern has a test duration of 2½  hours (150 minutes).
  • Each question in TSICET exam has 4 answer options out of which one is correct.
  • Each correct answer in TSICET will be awarded 1 mark.
  • The unanswered questions or multiple answers will receive nil marks in TSICET  exam pattern.
  • No penalty of negative marks will be imposed for wrong answer in TSICET exam pattern.
  • Medium of TSICET exam pattern especially for Section-C is English. The section C in TSICET exam pattern consists of questions on English Communication Ability
  • For Section A and B, the medium of test is English and Telugu in TS-ICET exam pattern.

4. TS ICET Pattern: Type of Questions

Section wise TS ICET exam pattern covers following type of questions and the instructions to attempt the questions in the exam:

Section: Data Sufficiency
Note: In questions below, a question is followed by data is the form of two statements labeled as I and II. You must decide whether the data given in the statements are sufficient to answer the questions. Using the data make an appropriate choice from (1) to (4) as per the following guidelines:

(a) Mark choice (1) if the statement I alone is sufficient to answer the question.

(b) Mark choice (2) if the statement II alone is sufficient to answer the question.

(c) Mark choice (3) if both the statement I and II are sufficient to answer the question but neither statement alone is sufficient.

(d) Mark choice (4) if both the statements I and II together are not sufficient to answer the question and additional data required.

TS ICET Exam Pattern: Important Instructions

  • There are no negative marks
  • Questions will be available in two languages – English and Telugu
  • Total duration of examination is 150 minutes.
  • Only correct answer carries one mark which will be decided based on FINAL KEY
  • The questions will be displayed on the screen one at a time in both the languages
  • Each question will have 4 options, out of which one will be the correct answer and the candidate has to select one option.
  • The clock will be set at the server. The countdown timer in the top right corner of screen will display the remaining time available for you to complete the examination. When the timer reaches zero, the examination will end by itself. You will not be required to end or submit your examination
  • The Question Palette displayed on the right side of screen will show the status of each question whether answered, unanswered, marked for review
  • Sections in this question paper are displayed on the top bar of the screen. Questions in a section can be viewed by clicking on the section name. The section you are currently viewing is highlighted.

No Sectional Time Limit
You can shuffle section(subject) and questions anytime during the examination as per your convenience only during the total time of 150 minutes.

To answer a question, do the following:

  1. Click on the question number in the Question Palette at the right of your screen to go to that numbered question directly. Note that using this option does NOT save your answer to the current question.
  2. Click on Save & Next to save your answer for the current question and then go to the next question.
  3. Click on Mark for Review & Next to save your answer for the current question, mark it for review, and then go to the next question.

How to answer a multiple choice type question:

a. To answer a question, Click on the button against the chosen option among the given four options.

b. To change your chosen answer, click on the button of another option

c. To deselect your chosen answer, click on the button of the chosen option again or click on the Clear Response button

d. To save your answer, you MUST click on the Save & Next button

e. The question(s) "Answered and Marked for Review" will be considered for evaluation.

f. Marked for Review status for a question simply indicates that you would like to look at that question again. The question(s) "Marked for Review" will not be considered for evaluation. Hence, no marks will be allocated for the same.

g. After clicking the Save & Next button on the last question for a section, you will automatically be taken to the first question of the next section

h. Candidate can view the corresponding section summary as part of the legend that appears in every section above the question palette.
