XAT 2027 Exam Pattern

Effective XAT exam preparation requires understanding exam pattern, which is quite different form CAT exam pattern. XAT Exam Pattern 2027 is designed to test your problem-solving, logical thinking, and decision-making skills and is divided into two parts. XAT exam Part 1 consists of 75 questions to be solved in 170 minutes. This part consists of following sections: Decision Making (21 questions), Verbal and Logical Ability (26 questions), Quantitative Ability and Data Interpretation (28 questions). “The VA&LR section will encompass critical & analytical reasoning, reading comprehensions (including poems & passages), vocabulary, basic English grammar, and other related exercises such as para jumbles and cloze tests.” 

XAT Verbal Ability & Logical Reasoning: Type of Questions 
In XAT 2026 VA LR section, there were 15 Reading Comprehension questions, 2 poem-based questions and 9 Verbal Ability/Reasoning questions. The Verbal Ability/Verbal Reasoning questions were based on grammar, vocabulary, and reasoning-based questions. The five passages were of 300 – 550 words each approximately. XAT Decision Making Syllabus 2027: Decision Making (DM) is a unique section in XAT exam. It tests your ability to holistically view a situation and propose a solution to a problem.
