XAT 2027 form fees is expected to be Rs. 2,200. You have to pay this XAT application form fees 2027 online during the XAT registration process. 

Candidates should note that XLRI PGDM program application fee is not included in this XAT exam fees. Candidates interested in XLRI PGDM/MBA programmes need to pay an additional fee of Rs. 200 for each program.

Before filling XAT form, candidates should ensure that they meet XAT Eligibility Criteria, given below:

• Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree of minimum 3 years duration in any discipline from a recognized university or institution.
• Those who are in the final year of graduation and expecting to complete their degree by June 2027 are also eligible to apply for XAT 2027.
• There is no minimum percentage of marks required in graduation. As long as you have passed your graduation exam, you are eligible to apply for XAT.

XAT official website is xatonline.in. This website has XAT form for filling complete details. You can also upload all documents required and make payment. 

Step 2: Register for XAT Exam 2027 
Once you are on XAT website, register yourself with contact details like your name, email id, phone number. Read instructions and images below for step-by-step guidance.

Step 2.1 
Enter the required information like your name, email id, phone number and password in XAT registration form. After submitting these details, you will get a message from XAT on your registered email id. Open your mail and verify the link. Immediately after this verification, you will get XAT Id and password

Step 2.2
Now, you have two options to fill your XAT application: Either login to XAT application page directly from the verification link on your mail; or login later with your XAT ID and password to fill your XAT exam application form.

On this XAT registration page you are required to fill up your academic details from class 10 onwards including professional qualifications. When filling these details, keep your Class 10, 12 and College Mark Sheets ready for easy reference.

Step 5: Fill in your Work Experience, and Selected Program Details
On this page you need to fill in following three items of information carefully:

• Your Work Experience beginning with latest work experience
• If you want to apply for XLRI Programme, fill in the choice of programmes, you wish to apply for.
• You can choose one or more programmes offered by XLRI. Note that application fee is Rs. 200 for each XLRI programme.  
• You can choose 6 preferred test cities to appear in XAT exam.

On this page you need to fill in following three items of information carefully:

• Your Work Experience beginning with latest work experience
• If you want to apply for XLRI Programme, fill in the choice of programmes, you wish to apply for.

Step 6: Upload Photo, Signature, Documents
Next, you need to upload your photo, signature and identity proof. The photo and signature that you upload should be as per the XAT specifications given on this page.

Next, you need to confirm that whatever you have stated in the application form is true and correct. So, it is better to preview the application form before confirming. After that, enter your name and date to click ‘continue’ button.

Step 8: Pay XAT Fees 
The next and the final step for filling XAT application form is to pay the required fees. XAT Registration Fees 2027 is Rs. 2200. Candidates interested in XLRI programmes need to pay an additional fee of Rs. 200/- each

You can complete XAT exam form filling in one go or on different days but before the XAT registration last date 2027.

Selecting your preferred XLRI programs is an integrated yet distinct stage of the XAT 2027 application process. To ensure you should be considered for admission into XLRI Jamshedpur or Delhi-NCR, you must follow these specific steps within the "Program Details" tab:

• Manual Program Addition: As shown in the form below, you must manually select each program, such as Business Management (BM) or Human Resource Management (HRM), from the dropdown menu and click the “Add” button to include them in your application.
• Campus Coverage: A key advantage is that selecting a program (e.g., BM) automatically makes you eligible for that program at both the Jamshedpur and Delhi-NCR campuses. You do not need to apply to campuses separately.
• Incremental Fee Structure: While the base XAT registration fee is Rs 2,200, each XLRI program you “Add” incurs an additional fee of Rs 200. For example, applying for both BM and HRM will bring your total to Rs 2,600 (2,200 + 400).
• Preference Ordering: If applying for multiple programs, you must specify your "First Preference" (e.g., HRM over BM). This is a critical data point used by the admissions committee during the shortlisting and interview scheduling phase.

To fill XAT 2027 application form, candidates should meet the XAT Eligibility Criteria, which includes having a bachelor's degree of at least three years in any discipline from a recognized university. Final year graduation students can also apply for XAT exam. There's no specific age limit.

When filling the XAT 2027 application form, candidates must adhere to the official XLRI guidelines for photographs and signatures, as detailed below:

a) Photograph Specifications 

• Photograph must be a recent passport size colour picture.
• The picture should be in colour, against a light-coloured, preferably white, background.
• Look straight at the camera with a relaxed face.
• If the picture is taken on a sunny day, have the sun behind you, or place yourself in the shade, so that you are not squinting and there are no harsh shadows.
• If you have to use flash, ensure there's no "red-eye".
• If you wear glasses make sure that there are no reflections and your eyes can be clearly seen.
• Caps, hats and dark glasses are not acceptable. Religious headwear is allowed but it must not cover your face.
• Dimensions 200 x 230 pixels (preferred).
• Size of file should be between 20KB-50KB.
• Ensure that the size of the scanned image is not more than 50KB. 

b) Signature Image Specifications

• The applicant has to sign on white paper with Black Ink pen.
• The signature must be signed only by the applicant and not by any other person.
• The Signature will be used to put on the ADMIT CARD and wherever necessary.
• The Applicant’s signature obtained on the ADMIT CARD and attendance sheet at the time of the examination should match the uploaded signature. In case of mismatch, the candidate may be disqualified.
• Dimensions 140 x 60 pixels (preferred).
• Size of file should be between 10KB —20KB.
• Ensure that the size of the scanned image is not more than 20KB. 

Every year many candidates face last minute glitches when their application form gets rejected due to errors. Error rate in XAT forms is highest in image upload and name mismatch fields. Follow these tips to successfully complete your XAT registration form:

• Mismatched Name Details: Ensure your name, date of birth, and parents' names match your Class 10th marksheet exactly. Even a minor spelling difference can lead to disqualification during the document verification stage at XLRI.
• Incorrect Image Specifications: Do not upload blurred or "selfie" style photos. XLRI requires a professional passport-sized photograph with a white background and specific dimensions (typically 200 x 230 pixels) to avoid automated technical rejection.
• Final Submission Without Preview: Many candidates forget that no changes are allowed once the "Final Submit" button is clicked. Always use the "Preview" feature to double-check every field, especially your email ID and mobile number.
• Delayed Payment Completion: Do not wait until the last date (December 5, 2026) to pay the fees. Heavy server traffic often leads to payment gateway timeouts; a "pending" payment status on the deadline day is a common reason for missing the registration.

XLRI Jamshedpur opens XAT application correction window for a few days, allowing registered candidates to correct any errors in their forms. XLRI XAT allows changes in some fields, like academic information, work experience, and a few personal details. However, your registered email ID and mobile number can’t be changed.
