XAT answer key was released for the first time in 2015 had 84 answers. Total questions in XAT at that time were 114. There were 4 question paper sets titled A, B, C, D in XAT and XLRI had also released a separate document which contained only answer keys in respect to each set of XAT questions as well as all the 4 sets of question papers with solutions. Earlier, when XAT used to be paper based test, candidates were allowed to take the question booklet with them. Accordingly, XAT answer keys helped them to very well assess their position and could judge the scores they would be going to get based on the accuracy of the answered questions. The detailed XAT solutions with explanations also helped the test takers in ascertaining their chances to be shortlisted by XLRI or other top rated B schools and also provided them guidance for the future. However, with the computerized XAT exam now, XLRI releases the XAT Question Papers with solutions pdf as only XAT answer keys may not suffice.
