IIM Lucknow will release the CAT 2023 admit card with some changes and will close the download process after the CAT exam is over on November 26. You can download your CAT 2023 Admit card in following simple steps:

1. Logon to CAT official Website
2. Enter CAT Login ID & Password

Step-1: Logon to Official CAT Website iimcat.ac.in
Open your computer system and check whether the CAT site is getting opened or there are technical glitches. Check for the icon ‘Login’ on the screen and click on it

Step-2: Enter CAT Login ID & Password
Enter your 7 digit CAT user Id and the 7 digit CAT password. This will lead to Admit Card page. In case you forget your CAT password, do not worry, click on ‘forget password’ and IIMs will send your CAT login ID and password to your registered Mail ID for CAT exam

Step-3: Click on ‘Admit Card’
You are at the Admit card link. Click on it and it will open the page with the details of your CAT exam centre and CAT exam slot – Morning or afternoon. Check Previous year link below

Step-4: Click on ‘Admit card’ Pdf in Right hand corner

Step-5: Take Print

1. Save Your Admit Card after Download
After your Admit Card is downloaded error free, save the document in the folder that you can remember – for example a document can be created with the name ‘CAT 2023 Admit Card’. Verify all your personal details, your printed photograph, signature image, Date of Birth, CAT registration Number, as it will be required to locate your testing room and seat in the testing lab, test venue, exam date and time as well as the reporting time at the CAT Exam centre.  

2. Convert CAT Admit Card Soft Copy into Hard Copy
CAT Admit card is in PDF format. You need to convert the soft copy into hard copy and then you should take the print. It will be better to take more than 2-3 prints of your admit card. Keep one with your other mandatory documents which you will have to carry to the exam centre and other with you so that in case of any query you may instantly refer to it.

After the CAT admit card download 2023, it needs to be directly printed from the CAT 2023 official website using your CAT user ID and Password.  Please note that the CAT 2023 Hall Ticket will not be mailed to your postal address. CAT Admit Card 2023: Importance & Key Do’s & Don’ts

• CAT 2023 Admit Card is the mandatory and most important document to appear in the CAT exam.
• Without the hard copy of your admit card with your photo affixed on it, you will not be allowed to enter the CAT test centre on CAT day.
• Please note that the Admit card will be  available for download from CAT official website iimcat.ac.in with all the important dos’ & don’ts for CAT exam day
• Must Take clear Print of CAT Admit Card on A4 Size paper
• Produce the hard copy of your Admit Card with your photo affixed on it at Exam Centre
• Keep one original photo id also for verification at the exam centre
• Don’t carry any stationery, Mobile, digital/electronic watch, etc. on exam day
• Don’t wear jackets, shoes, jewellery, coats/overcoats on exam day 

Details to check in the CAT 2023 Admit Card
You need to check the following mandatory details in your Admit card when you download it from CAT website

• Your Name: Name should be as entered in the registration/application form of CAT 2023
• Test date: Your Date of CAT 2023 exam
• Test Time: Slot of exam (Morning or evening) with time of CAT exam and reporting time at test centre should be mentioned in CAT Admit Card  
• CAT registration number should be available in the Admit Card
• PWD status – In case the candidate is physically challenged, it must be mentioned in the Admit Card else the benefit of reservation will not be there.
• Test center Details- Your test city, test site with address should be mentioned

5. Important Changes with Covid Instructions in CAT Admit Card
Apart from the regular instructions like carrying the Admit card with the photo affixed on it and one of the valid photo IDs, the CAT 2023 Admit card will contain following changes along with additional instructions in the wake of Covid pandemic. You should take note of these instructions:

1. No Display of Seating Arrangement at CAT Exam Centre: Mapping of 'Candidate Application Number and the Lab Number' may NOT be displayed outside the test venue, but the same will be provided to the candidates individually at the time of the entry of the candidate to the test venue and post their Admit Card and Photo Identification Proof verification
2. Articles to Bring: Candidate must bring their own Mask, Gloves, personal hand sanitizer (50ml), transparent water Bottle, 2 simple pens and the test related documents (Admit Card, ID Card etc.). No other items will be permitted inside the test centre
3. No Shoes with Thick Soles: Shoes/Footwear with thick soles are not permitted at the exam centre
4. No Garments with Large Buttons: Garments with large buttons are Not permitted inside the testing hall
5. Report One & Half Hour Before: You need to report at the CAT exam centre 90 minutes before the Exam start time. For example if your CAT exam starts at 8.30 AM, you should report at the test centre by 7 AM
6. Keep Social Distancing: Candidates must maintain social distance starting from point of entry in the test venue till his/her exit from the test venue.
7. Checking of Temperature: The temperature of candidates will be checked at the entry to the test venue via a Thermo Gun. 
8. Isolation Room for Symptomatic Candidates: Candidates having symptoms of fever, cough, and cold would be made to sit in a separate isolation room/place with adequate safety measures.
9. Sanitization is Necessary: At the registration desk, the candidate will be directed to sanitize his / her hands using the sanitizer
10. Sign the Covid-19 Declaration: Candidate must sign the declaration (provided below) appropriately and show the same to the centre staff at the entry into the test centre.

Aspirant Friendly Changes in Admit Card
CAT Hall Ticket has a few changes to help candidates appearing in CAT exam 2023:

• Google Map Link: A Google Map Link to locate the CAT 2023 test centre and its accessibility is made available individually on the electronic version of all the CAT Admit cards 
• Emergency Contact: CAT 2023 Admit card will have the emergency contact number. This is the candidate's second contact number which is asked by IIMs while completing their application form. This was also asked in past also but was not used in the Admit card earlier.

CAT Exam Day Instructions: Do’s & Don’ts

• CAT Exam 2023, like last year, will be conducted in three slots of 2 hours each - a) Morning - 8:30AM–10:30 AM; b) Afternoon - 12:30 PM – 2:30 PM; c) Evening - 4.30PM - 6.30PM,  depending upon the Covid pandemic situation
• Candidates should locate their CAT 2023 test centres in advance and start early in order to reach their test centres on time
• Go through the test day video uploaded in the CAT website to familiarize with the security and other exam day procedures   

Important Do's for Exam Day

• Same photograph as appears on Admit card to be affixed on hard copy of Admit Card
• CAT 2023 Admit card and one original photo ID proof required to take CAT exam
• Report 90 minutes before at the CAT testing venue
• Test system number applicable only to identify the floor/wing and the seating place on the CAT exam day 

Important Don'ts for the exam day:
Instructions on admit card make it clear not to carry any of the following articles to the CAT exam centre:

• No Jewellery allowed inside the CAT testing room
• No shoes allowed inside the testing room
• Pen, Pencil, sharpener, watch, Mobile phones etc. not allowed
• No break during the test duration of 3 hours
• No documents except Admit card and photo ID allowed 

Importance of Admit Card: Your Passport for CAT 2023 Exam Day
CAT Exam 2023 Admit Card is the passport to your CAT Exam as without carrying it, you will not be allowed to enter the CAT exam centre on CAT exam day. Your Admit card download process, therefore is the most important activity on its day of release. Besides, in this pandemic situation and in case of curfew or lockdown in your area. you will be allowed to use your Admit card as Covid-19 pass while reaching your exam center.

You must carry the hard copy of your admit card with photo affixed on it, to CAT exam center otherwise you will not be allowed to enter the test center. Admit Card is a mandatory document for taking the CAT 2023 examination. You must follow the instructions provided in the Admit Card before coming for the examination. The photograph affixed on the hard copy of the Admit Card must be the same as the one uploaded at the time of registration.    

  CAT Admit Card 2023: Important Points to Remember 
Admit Card 2023 download is available from the date of its release. Following are the important things to note about the release and download of the Admit Card:

• Download only from CAT official website: You need to download the admit card 2023 from the official CAT exam website iimcat.ac.in. 
• Only Successfully Registered Candidates can Download: Your admit card will appear after login on IIM CAT website only if your online application form has been submitted successfully by the last date to apply for CAT. 
• Check Automated Mail Confirmation from CAT Centre 2023: Please check that you have received an automated email confirmation upon successful submission of CAT application form alongwith the payment of CAT exam fee. 
• Use CAT 2023 Login ID & PW: Login to the CAT website using your registered User ID and view/print the Admit Card.     
• Use High Speed Internet: To avoid any technical glitches and to quickly download the Admit Card when it is enabled, it is advised to login with a high speed internet computer.
• Take Print on A4 Size White Paper: After completing the Admit Card download process, you must take print of the admit card on A4 size white bond paper or the similar quality paper. 
• Admit Card Download Available till CAT Exam Date: According to the release by IIMs, "After submission of the application, candidates will be permitted to download their examination admit card, till the date of the test."  
• Check your CAT candidature: Please also note that your CAT candidature is subject to having paid the applicable CAT Test Fees and fulfilled the eligibility criteria of Academic qualification, Category, PwD status etc., as has been mentioned in the Application submitted. These details would be verified in the subsequent stages of the Selection process.

The Admit Card is a mandatory document required to take the exam. IIMs clearly advise that you must print the Admit Card and bring it to the exam centre on the day of the exam along with your photograph identical to the image used in the CAT 2023 registration and application form. Without Admit Card, entry to test centre will not be permitted and an aspirant has to ensure to carry the print out of his Admit Card with him

No Admit card is issued, if not eligible
The candidate will be eligible for an Admit Card only upon submission of online application form. The candidate should have received an automated email confirmation upon successful submission. 

No hard copy of Admit card by IIMs
The admit card will be only available on the CAT Website when you log on using your CAT 2023 User ID. No hard copy of CAT 2023 Admit card will be sent to you.

So, you need not worry as the download of CAT hall ticket is enabled by IIMs in time. Please do not expect any hard copy of the CAT Admit card by post or in mail to be sent by IIMs.

View & Download Admit Card from CAT Website; not from your mail
Please note that the CAT Admit card will be available on the CAT website only, and not from your mail. You must login using your CAT Exam User ID to view/print the Admit card.
