IIM Kozhikode PGP F 2021-23 Batch Admission Criteria Changed
IIM Kozhikode has revised the PGP Finance admission criteria, cut offs, weightage in shortlisting process and final selection process for 2021-23 batch. Important changes are as below:

Key Changes in Shortlisting Criteria

  • No overall percentile prescribed for shortlisting in PGP F at IIM Kozhikode.
  • For PGP F IIM Kozhikode will consider only Sectional percentile
  • Graduation marks will be considered in shortlisting eligibility for IIM-K PGP F
  • Class X and XII marks get 30% weight but no weight for Graduation marks in shortlisting for IIM Kozhikode PGP F programme
  • Only Quant section percentile will be awarded 40% weight in shortlisting for PGP-F
  • 15% weight will be awarded to IIM Kozhikode PGP-F Suitability Score – a new component added in shortlisting process

  • No Written Ability Test (WAT) in IIM Kozhikode PGP F final selection process
  • PI gets 40% weight

PGP-Finance Program fee
The 2 years PGP Finance program fee is Rs.20,50,000 at IIM Kozhikode. In addition the student has to pay an amount of INR.25,000/- as Caution Deposit and INR.2,000/- as Students Welfare Fund Collection during the time of registration. Further, he/she has to remit INR. 25,000/- towards mess and students activities deposit before commencement of each term.

PGP Finance Admission EligibilityCriteria

  • Applicants must hold a duly recognized bachelor’s degree/post-graduate in any discipline with minimum 60% marks or equivalent CGPA.
  • The applicant must also possess a valid score in CAT 2020 /GRE/ GMAT (In case of GRE/GMAT the test has to be taken between January 1, 2020 and December 31, 2020, both days inclusive)
  • SC/ST/PWD candidates are allowed a relaxation of 10% in the minimum mandated marks.
  • The candidates appearing for the final year of Bachelor's degree/equivalent qualification examination and those who have completed degree requirements and are awaiting results are also eligible to apply.

Admission process
IIM Kozhikode will adopt a three-stage selection process for the admissions to PGP-Finance:  Stage-I (Online application), Stage-II (Shortlisting of the candidates), Stage-III (Personal Interview). The three stage admission process consists of following steps:

  • Step 1: Registration of candidates meeting the minimum eligibility criteria
  • Step 2: Shortlisting for Personal Interview (PI). The IIMKozhikode faculty committee will review the online applications and a shortlist of candidates in each category will be prepared based on their CAT/GRE/GMAT score, academic performance, work experience and gender diversity score.
  • Step 3: Final Shortlist. The short-listed candidates will have to appear for the Personal Interview (PI).

IIM Kozhikode Cut off & Shortlisting Criteria for PGP-Finance
A category wise shortlist will be prepared based on Aggregate Index Score (AIS). The AIS is computed on the basis of performance in the verbal section of entrance exam (CAT/GMAT/GRE), academic performance in class X & XII, work experience and gender diversity score

Final Shortlist after PI Round
The short-listed candidates will have to appear for a PI. During the PI process, the panel will evaluate the academic efforts and disposition, general awareness and social disposition, attitude, personality and communication and the quality of work experience of each candidate.

Final Merit List: Weightage
After the conclusion of PI process, final scores will be computed (as per Table 4) based on the performance in eligibility examination, PI score (panel’s evaluation of the academic efforts and disposition, general awareness and social disposition, attitude and personality and communication of each candidate), work experience quality score, and PGP-F suitability score. Category-wise merit list will be prepared based on the final scores. Admission offers will be made to candidates following the merit list as per the Government of India reservation norms.
