IIM Kozhikode PGP - LSM Admission Shortlist Out: Inaugural Batch Gets High Salary Packages; Check Cut off, Fee, Selection Process

Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode (IIMK), one of the top IIMs, has released the shortlist for the 3rd batch of two year full time Post Graduate Program in Liberal Studies & Management (PGP-LSM). IIM Kozhikode is the first IIM to offer an MBA in Liberal Studies & Management. The Placement process for the first batch of IIM Kozhikode PGP LSM 2020-22 was conducted with the flagship PGP batch which has registered high placements with average salary of Rs. 29.5 LPA.

 The online applications for admissions to PGP-LSM 2022-24 batch were closed on March 8, 2022. IIM Kozhikode accepts CAT, GMAT and GRE exam scores for PGP-LSM Admission. Since the application process remained open for a short period, eligible candidates needed to apply early to avoid any technical glitches at the last minute.

1. IIM Kozhikode PGP LSM: Highlights & Program USPs

The program is designed to integrate and equip participants to pursue careers in managerial roles in marketing, human resource management, media, social enterprise, hospitality, healthcare or in other people facing roles. 5. IIM Kozhikode PGP LSM Eligibility Criteria 2022

• Applicants must hold a duly recognized bachelor’s degree/post-graduate in any discipline with minimum 60% marks or equivalent CGPA.
• The applicant must possess a valid score in CAT 2021/GRE/GMAT, taken between January 1, 2021 to December 31, 2021 (both days inclusive)
• The candidates appearing for the final year of Bachelor's degree/equivalent qualification examination and those who have completed degree requirements and are awaiting results are also eligible to apply.

5.1 IIM Kozhikode Minimum Cut off Eligibility for PGP-LSM
Following category wise cut offs will be applied before computing the stage 2 shortlist for final selection round on the basis of performance in the CAT/GMAT/GRE exams

6. IIM Kozhikode PGP-LSM Admission process 2022
IIM Kozhikode will adopt a three-stage selection process for the admissions to PGP-LSM: 

• Stage-I (Online application)
• Stage-II (Shortlisting of the candidates)
• Stage-III (Personal Interview)

The three stage admission process consists of following steps:

6.1 Step 1: Registration of candidates meeting the minimum eligibility criteria
All candidates who are fulfilling the eligibility criteria are required to register online for the PGP-LSM programme of IIM Kozhikode. Only those candidates who have successfully completed the online registration process for IIM Kozhikode PGP-LSM programme are considered for Stage 2.

6.2 Step 2: In Stage 2, a shortlist of candidates in each reservation category will be prepared based on an Aggregate Index Score (AIS). The AIS is computed based on the percentile score  in aptitude test (CAT/GMAT/GRE), academic performance, work experience, academic diversity score and gender diversity score.

6.2.1 IIMK PGP-LSM Shortlisting Weightage: Aggregate Index Score (AIS)
The shortlisting process applies to all eligible candidates who have successfully completed the registration process.  A shortlist of candidates in each category will be prepared based on an Aggregate Index Score (AIS). The weight of each component in the AIS is as follows

6.2.2. 5% Weightage to Female Candidates
A weightage of 5% will be awarded to candidates who are either a female or transgender while shortlisting the candidates for the PI round

6.3 Step 3: Final Merit List for IIM Kozhikode PGP-LSM Admission 2022

• The short-listed candidates will be asked to appear for a Personal Interview (PI).
• During the PI process, the panel will evaluate the candidates based on their Communication, Attitude and Personality, General and Business Awareness, Liberal Studies Aptitude, Managerial and Leadership Aptitude and Quality of Work Experience.
• After the conclusion of the PI process, a category-wise merit list will be prepared.

6.3.1 Final Merit List Weightage

• After the conclusion of the PI process, the final scores will be computed based on the performance in AIS Score and PI Score
• Category-wise merit list will be prepared based on the final scores
• Admission offers will be made to candidates following the merit list as per the Government of India reservation norms.
