IMC Awards 2022: Nominations Open for two Cutting-edge Themes; Chief Guest to present Awards to Winners on Dec 10 at IIM Kozhikode

Soon after the release of Key Speakers, IMC Conference has opened the Nomination Process for IMC Awards, considered to be India's most prestigious awards for Excellence in Management Education. B-schools are invited to submit their initiatives on two themes before November 5. All nominations will be vetted by an independent jury and the best entries will be invited to make presentations at the prestigious IMC Conference on December 9-10 at IIM Kozhikode. Chief Guest will present the IMC Awards 2022 to Winners on Dec 10.

IMC Awards – Showcase of the best
In 2013, to further the vision of IMC Conference, the 1st Indian Management Conclave (IMC) Awards for Excellence in Management Education, popularly known as IMC Awards, were launched. The key objective of IMC Awards is to identify, document and recognize the Best-practices and successful Initiatives undertaken by Indian B-schools in strategic areas like Admissions Management, Curriculum & Pedagogy, Industry-engagement and Education Technology. Today, IMC Awards are India's most prestigious awards for Excellence in Management Education. It is noteworthy that this is a not-for-profit initiative of IMC Conference. No registration or participation fee of any kind is charged.

10^th IMC Awards were presented on August 4^th 2019 in New Delhi by Former President of India Late Shri Pranab Mukherjee & 11^th IMC Awards were presented on Dec 20-21, 2021 by Dr Rajiv Kumar, Vice Chairman, Niti Aayog to worthy winners.

Announcing IMC Awards Themes
As is well known, IMC conference has focused on following sequential themes in its previous editions:

• IMC 2017: WHAT to Teach – Curriculum
• IMC 2018: HOW to Teach – Pedagogy
• IMC 2019: WHO teaches - Faculty Mindset & Skills
• IMC 2021: WHOM to teach – Learner Centricity

Releasing the Themes, IMC 2022 Award Jury member Dr SR Singhvi said, “We are delighted to announce the two themes for IMC Award competition. Given the importance of these themes, we look forward to wide participation from Top B-schools and those who aspire to be in top league soon.” Dr SR Singhvi has been a much sought-after Faculty at leading B-schools including MDI Gurgaon and IIM Indore. He was a UNDP Fellow at Kellogg School of Management, North Western University, USA and participant in Case Development Course at Harvard Business School. He is associated with Indian Management Conclave and IMC Awards as Advisor since the first edition.

Conference to host Business Icons, Policy Makers, MBA Education Doyens
