Program Highlight

IIM Bodh Gaya started five years integrated programme in management (IPM) from academic session 2021. The programme is meant for students who have passed class 12 and wish to pursue MBA from the best B-schools. The first three year of IPM programme would focus on undergraduate management degree programme BBA and on successful completion the BBA, the students will automatically be promoted to IIM Bodh Gaya MBA programme without bothering for CAT or any other MBA entrance exam. The curriculum of IPM programme would offer experiential learning, international immersion and a holistic course curriculum. The objective of the programme is to prepare young students from a foundation level for taking up leadership positions in corporates/government organizations. The IPM program is intended to make students to have a global perspective towards management practice. With an early induction to the programme and a rigorous and holistic curriculum, the IPM students will demonstrate problem solving skills supported by appropriate analytical techniques and will use ethical and socially conscious judgement while analysing business situations.

Candidates successfully completing the course requirement of integrated programme in management would be awarded Bachelor of Business Administration and Master of Business Administration by IIM Bodh Gaya. Candidates opting for exit after completing the requirement of first three years, would be awarded Bachelor of Business Administration.

Curriculum Highlights

The 5 Year IPM Program at IIM Bodh Gaya is divided into BBA + MBA degree programmes. The first three years of the IIM Bodh Gaya IPM program would be based on a semester system, and the last two years would be based on the trimester system as per the prevailing MBA course structure. At the end of 2nd year, students will have to undergo a compulsory Rural and Social Immersion internship. During the sixth semester of the program, students will have the option to select their specialization in due course of IPM. The course structure after the sixth semester would follow the MBA course structure as per MBA policy. After completing three years of IPM, the student will be part of MBA programme and will study the MBA curriculum and in the final year of MBA will have the same choice of specializations offered to MBA students.

Students will go for compulsory Summer Internship at the end of 2nd year and 3rd year to provide in-depth industry experience and to expose them to the real work environment challenges. IIM Bodh Gaya offers to its students a great opportunity to be a part of an Exchange Program for one term at its partner universities across the world.

The Pedagogy uses audio-visual based teaching techniques like case studies, real-life problem-solving exercises, group discussions and business simulation contents. Emphasis is on gaining practical experience and critical thinking rather than stressing on rote learning.

There are specialization in six key areas of Management – Marketing, Finance, Operations, HR, Analytics, IT & Decision Sciences, Strategy, Public Policy and General Management

Eligibility Criteria

IIM Bodh Gaya IPM eligibility criteria have following key points:

  • Candidates should have passed 10+2/XII/HSC examination in arts/commerce/science stream or equivalent with 60% or more
  • The candidate must have passed class 10th examination with 60% or more in the year not before 3 years ago
  • SC/ST/PwD/Transgender category candidates need 55% marks in class 12 and class 10 to apply for admission. There is no relaxation in the exam years.
  • Candidates appearing in class 12/HSC or equivalent can also apply
  • Applicants should apply and appear in JIPMAT exam conducted by NTA and score well

Application Process

Application Status: Open

Eligible Students should apply online for IIM Bodh Gaya IPM Admission. Candidates have to apply for JIPMAT exam with an application fee of Rs. 2000/-. There is no separate application fee to apply to IIM Bodhgaya IPM Admission.

The admission process for IIM Bodh Gaya IPM Programme is based on JIPMAT exam score and gender diversity. There is no Personal Interview Round for shortlisted students. Key components of IIM Bodh Gaya IPM admission process are:

  • Apply and Appear in Joint Integrated Programme in Management Admission Test (JIPMAT) to be conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA)
  • You should score above 50% in each section of JIPMAT to get shortlisted for final selection
  • No Personal Interview will be conducted to select the students 
  • The candidates, who score more than or equal to category-wise sectional percentile 30, will be eligible for the Merit List 
  • Sectional raw scores will be subjected to minimum qualifying requirements also. This will be decided after the result based on the available pool of the candidates. 
  • The criteria for preparing the merit list will be based on the composite score comprising the weightage of JIPMAT score and gender diversity

Tie-Breaking rule to Prepare Merit List
If the overall composite scores of two or more students are found same, then they will be ranked on the following basis:

  • Overall JIPMAT score: Higher score will be ranked higher
  • VARC section score: Higher score will be ranked higher
  • QA section score: Higher score will be ranked higher
  • DILR section score: Higher score will be ranked higher
  • Class X score: Higher score will be ranked higher
  • Class XII score: Higher score will be ranked higher
  • Appearance in Class XII: Recent appearance will be ranked higher
  • Appearance in Class X: Recent appearance will be ranked higher
  • Date of Birth: Younger candidate will be ranked higher

•    The candidates desirous of seeking admission in IIM Bodhgaya IPM must register and apply for JIPMAT
