The programme has 1,150 seats and is taught on the institute's 92-acre residential campus on Shankarpally Road, Hyderabad. Graduates receive an MBA degree from IFHE, a deemed-to-be university. The IBS Hyderabad MBA is designed to build specialists who can integrate across functional areas in a dynamic organisation. The degree is awarded by IFHE, Hyderabad, a deemed-to-be university under the UGC Act 1956. ICFAI Business School Hyderabad MBA eligibility criteria are:

Graduation in any discipline with at least 50% marks, with English as the medium of instruction.
At least 15 years of education, on a 10+2+3 or 10+2+4 basis.
Candidates whose graduation was not in English medium must submit a TOEFL, NELT or IELTS score by 31 May 2027.
Final-year students can apply if they complete all graduation requirements, including practicals, viva and assignments, before 31 May 2027. Their admission stays provisional until they submit mark sheets and the degree certificate, and the last date for proof of graduation is 1 November 2027.

IBS Hyderabad Scholarships

IBS Hyderabad aims to award 500 merit scholarships of Rs 2 lakh each to the class of 2027, a pool of Rs 10 crore. Each scholarship is adjusted as Rs 1 lakh against the first-term instalment and Rs 1 lakh against the second-term instalment of the programme fee. Scholarships are open to four categories:

Candidates who secure top ranks in IBSAT 2026.
Wards of IBS alumni.
Physically challenged candidates.
Wards of defence personnel, in service or retired, from the Army, Air Force, Navy and paramilitary forces.

A scholarship is given only to candidates who appear for and qualify in IBSAT 2026, and only after they complete admission, pay the admission fee and register. It can be adjusted only against the programme fee, and if a student withdraws, any refund is calculated after deducting the scholarship.

Selection Process
