IIM Mumbai Admission Process 2025
IIM Mumbai admission policy is based on CAT 2024 exam. The approach of IIM Mumbai to prepare the admission list for its MBA programme is based on following points. Satisfy the Programme Eligibility: IIM Mumbai Eligibility criteria require that the candidate must hold a bachelor's degree of minimum 3 years duration after class 12, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA. The candidate should appear in CAT exam and must score minimum prescribed sectional and overall score to be considered for shortlisting. Candidates appearing for the final year bachelor's degree/equivalent qualification examination and those who have completed the degree requirements and are awaiting results are also eligible to apply for Admission.
Apply & Appear in CAT 2024: Application process for admission 2025 at IIM Mumbai has opened with the start of CAT registration process. Candidates have to apply for CAT by September 20, 2024. For admission 2025, IIM Mumbai has not asked for separate application submission for MBA Admission
Shortlisting of Candidates: Candidates are short-listed for Personal Interview (PI) round from among the candidates who have a valid CAT score, who have applied to the programme and who satisfy the eligibility criteria for the programme. The candidate must have appeared and scored the minimum required percentile in CAT. Candidates are short-listed for PI round which is conducted in many cities
Final Selection: After the PI round, IIM Mumbai will award weightages to various parameters and admission offers are made by IIM Mumbai to successful candidates. The final selection is based on a diverse set of attributes which includes performance in CAT, performance in PI round, academics, diversity, work experience among others
Admission Offer: Admission offer letter would be sent to all successful candidates. Candidates, who are offered admission, need to confirm their acceptance by completing all the required formalities by the stipulated date.
