MBA Human Resource Management (MBA-HRM)

The MBA-Human Resource program at School of Business Management, NMIMS Mumbai is a 2 years full time management programme meant for freshers and candidates with work experience. NMIMS launched MBA HR programme in 2011 with the purpose of developing professionals with a strong grounding in the HR domain as well as possessing a deep understanding of business and other functions. The programme has rigorous and contemporary curriculum along with strong academia and industry interface. During the short span of time, NMIMS has been able to develop strong HR professionals who are placed in organizations across diverse sectors in India and other countries. In the last few years, NMIMS MBA HR has consistently been placed amongst the top-ranking MBA-HR programs in the country.

SBM-NMIMS Mumbai offers a Full time 2 Year MBA Program in Human Resource. The USP of the program lies in its design and delivery of core courses, sector specific inputs, skill building workshops and a strategic partnership with the world’s largest HR association SHRM. Students get benefit from the partnership with SHRM.

The MBA-HR Programme at NMIMS Mumbai comprises of 39 courses across six trimesters. There are 15 Workshops in six semesters and are conducted focusing on HR trends in sectors such as Manufacturing, BFSI, Retail, IT and others. Inputs on HR practices are highlighted through a series of guest sessions, project work and seminars. Seminars in this category are compulsory and non credit.

The program also includes summer internship for 8-10 weeks in which students undergo full time intensive training with industry under the guidance of a project guide and a faculty guide. Consulting assignments are given to the students from different companies in the area of HR. Sector Specific Inputs are derived through continuous interactions with Business and HR leaders along with doing live corporate projects in multiple sectors like Automobile, IT, BFSI, FMCG and Pharma, Business Advisory, HR Consulting, Telecommunications, Retail (Brick and Mortar and E-commerce). 

Business Research Workshops and Dissertation are conducted to enhance skills of opportunity recognition, problem identification and solving, critical thinking and ability to work independently. A Workshop and a Course on HR Analytics along with an enhanced focus on data and analytics in every course is offered. Besides the programme has Capstone- the Business Simulation
 

NMIMS Mumbai Scholarships for MBA
Key details of Narsee Monjee Mumbai Scholarships are

• Name of Scholarship Scheme: Merit Cum Means Scholarship
• Eligibility/Criteria: Family Income should be less than Rs.8 lakhs; Based on high academic performance
• Amount of Scholarship: Partial or full fee waiver as per evaluation

Application complete in all respects should be submitted online at NMIMS SBM website with an application fees of Rs. 2800. This fees is apart from the NMAT exam fee of Rs.2800

For admission to NMIMS SBM Mumbai MBA HR programme, step by step process to fill and submit application to NMIMS Mumbai is as below:

• Online application on NMIMS website has to be duly submitted & payment of application charges need to be made in any of the prescribed mode within stipulated time.
• It is candidate's responsibility to select the program preference at the time of filling up the NMIMS application form
• Candidates are required to fill only one application form even if they are applying for multiple programs/campuses
• The NMIMS Application fee is Rs.2800/- + taxes whether applying for one MBA HR or multiple MBA programmes. The Common Application must be submitted online only. The application fee can be paid by means of Credit card, Debit Card, and Payment wallet. This fees is in addition to the NMAT exam registration fees of Rs.3000/-
