NMIMS Mumbai Admission 2027: Application Open through NMAT 2026

The NMIMS School of Business Management (SBM) offers its flagship MBA programme across six campuses in Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Bengaluru, Indore, Hyderabad and Ahmedabad. NMIMS School of Management Mumbai offers 2 years full time MBA, MBA HR, MBA Pharmaceutical Management, MBA Digital Transformation and MBA Business Analytics programs. NMIMS Mumbai Admission Process is based on NMAT by GMAC exam score for 2 year full time MBA programmes. NMIMS SBM Mumbai does not accept any other score. The NMIMS admission process for other programmes is different. NMIMS Mumbai Selection is through the process of GMAC by NMAT and Case Discussion and Personal Interview. NMIMS School of Management Admission process is divided into five parts – Application submission, Taking NMAT by GMAC Exam, Shortlisting, CDPI round for final selection, and final merit list as below:

Stage 1: Steps to Apply for NMIMS MBA:

• Step 1: Visit https://nmat.nmims.edu Fill Step-1 and submit.

• Step 2: Verify your email, complete your NMAT registration and pay the exam fee.

• Step 3: Re-visit https://nmat.nmims.edu and log in using the NMATbyGMAC ID & password

• Step 4: Complete the NMIMS application form, select the preferred programme(s), and pay the application fee.

Stage 2: Competency test and Personal Interview by NMIMS

SELECTION PROCESS 

Stage 1: NMAT by GMAC™ test is a mandatory for applying to the following 

NMIMS University programs 

1. MBA - Mumbai / Bengaluru / Jadcherla (Hyderabad) / Navi Mumbai / Indore / Ahmedabad 
2. MBA HR Mumbai 
3. MBA Business Analytics Mumbai 
4. MBA (Digital Transformation) Mumbai   
5. MBA Pharmaceutical Management Mumbai 

For more information about the test, please visit www.nmat.org. The score of the NMAT by GMAC™ Test for all the NMIMS applicants will be submitted by GMAC to NMIMS (Deemed to-be- University).

Stage 2: Shortlisting based on NMAT sectional and total score will be done only for candidates applying to any of the NMIMS programs..

 NMIMS conducts / organizes the 2nd Stage of the selection process for the shortlisted candidates. There could be a competency test, and Personal Interview. The details will be informed subsequently. The selection process is done in person. Please carry your NMAT by GMAC scorecard. The call letter will be declared on the candidate's dashboard. Call letters will neither be e-mailed nor sent by post. Weightage will be given to academic performance and work experience also. 

The final merit list will be prepared based on marks obtained by a candidate in NMAT by GMAC™, personal interview, Competency test, work experience and past academic performance. 

The selection criteria will be based on merit only. The decision regarding the cut-off of the merit list will solely lie with NMIMS. Candidates who have applied for more than one Programme / Campus in their application forms will be selected based on their merit score and preferences and the availability of the seats in the respective programme. In this regard, the decision of the NMIMS shall be final and binding on all concerned.
