The first year of the PGDM FinTech program builds a strong foundation in management and technology. Students complete core courses across Financial Reporting & Analysis, Managerial Economics, Marketing Management, Organizational Behaviour, Business Communication, Financial Management, Business Statistics, HRM and E-Commerce. The curriculum progresses into advanced subjects such as International Business, Business Research Methods, Legal Aspects and Cyber Laws, Entrepreneurial Finance, Cloud Computing, Cyber Security and key FinTech domains including BankTech, InvestmentTech, InsureTech, WealthTech, RegTech, LendingTech and Neo Banking. Placement training is integrated across all three terms to prepare students for internships and industry interaction.
Highlights of Delhi School of Business PGDM FinTech Curriculum for Second Year
The second year focuses on specialization through industry-relevant electives and advanced FinTech coursework. Students study Digital Marketing, Analytics using Excel & R, AI Applications for Managers, Investment and Portfolio Management, Valuation & M&A, Financial Derivatives, Alternative Lending & Payments, Corporate Banking & Credit Analysis, and Global Institutions & Policies. The curriculum further includes FinTech Innovation using Machine Learning and IoT, Blockchain for Business, Algorithmic Trading, Corporate Financial Modelling, International Finance, and Cryptocurrencies & Smart Contracts. Students complete a Summer Internship after Term IV and a Capstone Project in Term VI, supported by continuous placement training.
