KMAT Kerala Registration 2027: Expected Dates, Application Fee and How to Apply Online

The table below gives the key facts about KMAT Kerala registration 2027 at a glance. The 2027 dates are expected and all other details are based on official KMAT 2026 notification and Information Bulletin.

CEE Kerala has not announced the KMAT Kerala 2027 registration dates yet. The expected Kerala KMAT Registration 2027 schedule below is based on the timeline CEE followed last year, and it will be updated as soon as the official notification is released.

Before you start the application, check that you meet the KMAT Kerala eligibility criteria. They are simple, and CEE is expected to retain the 2026 criteria for 2027.

• Educational qualification: a Bachelor's degree of at least three years in Arts, Science, Engineering, Commerce, Management or an equivalent field.
• Final-year students: eligible to apply, provided their results are declared before the MBA admission process begins.
• Minimum marks: as prescribed by the university to which you apply for MBA admission.
• Age: there is no age limit.
• Nationality and nativity: Indian and non-Indian candidates can apply, but only Keralite candidates are eligible for reservations and fee concessions.

The KMAT Kerala application fee depends on your category. The 2026 fee is given below, and the 2027 fee will be confirmed in the notification.

The fee is paid online only, through Internet Banking, Debit Card or Credit Card. Fee concessions apply only to Keralite candidates. The fee is not refunded and cannot be carried forward to a future exam.

The KMAT Kerala application form is filled in online through the KMAT Online Application link on www.cee.kerala.gov.in. All five steps are mandatory, and your application is complete only when every step is done.

Step 1: Registration
Enter your basic details to receive a system-generated Application Number, and create a strong password. The password must have at least 8 characters, including at least one letter, one number and one symbol, such as @, # or $. Do not share your password with anyone, because the Application Number and password are needed until the end of the admission process.


Step 2: Fill in the Application
Read the Information Bulletin before you begin, and then fill in all mandatory fields. While filling in the form, choose four exam city codes in order of preference from the list published by CEE. If too few candidates choose a city, CEE may allot a centre in another city, and requests to change the centre are not accepted later. Check every detail carefully before clicking "Save and Finalize", because no changes are possible after final submission. You can also check the list of KMAT Kerala exam centres before you choose.

Step 3: Pay the Application Fee
Pay the fee online through Internet Banking, Debit Card or Credit Card, and make sure the "Pay Application Fee" tab has turned green before moving on to the next step.

Step 4: Upload Your Photograph
Upload a recent, studio-taken, passport-size colour photograph with a light background, in the size given in the next section.

Step 5: Upload Your Signature
Sign in black or blue ink on plain white paper, scan the signature, crop around it and upload it in the size given in the next section.

Print the Application Acknowledgement Page
After completing all five steps, click "Print Acknowledgement Page" and keep a printout or soft copy for future reference. You do not need to send it to the CEE office.

CEE does not issue admit cards to candidates who upload a defective photograph or signature until the files are replaced, so prepare both correctly before you start the application.

Once the application is finally submitted, you cannot edit it directly. However, CEE opens a short correction window before admit cards are released. Last year, this window closed on 11 February 2026 at 5:00 PM, and complaints received after the deadline were not considered.

Correcting Profile Details
Log in to the KMAT Candidate Portal with your Application Number and password and check your profile details. Errors in name, gender, mobile number, nationality, date of birth or email ID must be emailed to [email protected] before the deadline, with your name, Application Number and documents supporting the correction.

Replacing a Defective Photograph or Signature
If your photograph or signature is defective, a "Memo Details" menu appears on your home page. Use it to upload a clear photograph or signature before the deadline. Candidates who paid the fee on time but did not finish the application can also use this facility to upload their photograph and signature and complete the submission.

You do not need to upload any certificates while applying for KMAT Kerala. The only files you upload are your photograph and signature. Proof of nationality, nativity, reservation category, age and academic qualification is produced before the college or university at the time of MBA admission, not submitted to CEE. Keep these documents ready for the admission stage, along with your Application Acknowledgement Page.

Keep these official rules in mind to avoid problems with your KMAT Kerala registration 2027:

1. Submitting without checking: no changes are possible after final submission, so review every field before you click "Save and Finalize".
2. Treating a bank deduction as payment: only the green "Pay Application Fee" tab and the "Transaction Successful" screen confirm that your payment has gone through.
3. Choosing exam cities casually: CEE does not change the exam centre once it has been declared.
4. Uploading the wrong photograph: photos with caps or goggles, and Polaroid, computer- or mobile-generated photos, are not accepted.
5. Losing your login details: the Application Number and password are needed until the end of the admission process.
6. Giving false information: such applications are rejected, and candidates can be debarred from CEE exams and prosecuted.
7. Expecting a refund: the fee is non-refundable, and an application cannot be withdrawn once submitted.

After KMAT Kerala registration and the correction window, CEE releases the admit card on the KMAT Candidate Portal. Last year, it came on 16 February 2026, six days before the exam. Candidates with balance fee pending or a defective photograph or signature receive the admit card only after fixing the issue; in 2026, the deadline for this was 20 February 2026 at 2:00 PM. Carry the admit card to the exam centre along with a valid photo ID, and read the KMAT Kerala exam day guidelines in advance.

KMAT Kerala is not a one-time opportunity in the year. Last year, CEE also held a second session: KMAT 2026 Session 2 registration ran from 27 April to 14 May 2026, after two extensions, and the exam was held on 31 May 2026.
