Latest Update:  NMAT 2020 registration process has reopened on January 18, 2021. The last date to apply is January 31, 2021. GMAC will conduct additional NMAT exams from February 2 to February 8, 2021. Earlier the last date to submit NMAT 2020 Application Form had closed on November 30. Many changes in NMAT 2020 exam have been introduced.

Key Features of Additional NMAT Registration Window:

  • Candidates who already have an account but could not register earlier, can use their existing account and complete the registration. There is no need to create a new account.
  • Both exam at test center and online proctored exam at home option will be available for candidates to choose preferred exam mode.
  • Slots will be available on specific dates within this window for online testing and seats will be booked on first come, first served basis
  • Slots will be available across all test centers in India only
  • Only one exam attempt will be allowed within this exam delivery window
  • Registration & Application Fee is INR 2300 plus taxes for main attempt or retake attempt during January 18, 2021 to January 31, 2021

Who is not eligible to apply and appear in Additional NMAT Exam Window?

  • Candidates who have used all three attempts for the NMAT by GMAC exam for the testing year 1st July 2020 – 30th June 2021 cannot register for the additional window This means the candidates who have taken the main attempt as well as the two re-takes, cannot avail this opportunity     

NMAT 2020 Registration process had started online on September 14, 2020 at the official NMAT exam website NMAT.Org. This year NMAT exam structure has been substantially changed by GMAC.Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) which conducts GMAT exam in the world, is conducting NMAT by GMAC exam 2020 in two testing modes – Online computer based test at exam centres and internet based Proctored online exam from home. You can appear in either of the two exams.  


You can avail this last opportunity and complete NMAT Application process in the additional NMAT registration window between January 18 and January 31, 2021 for the NMAT exam going to be conducted from February 2 to February 8, 2021.

NMAT Registration 2020 dates and application process for NMAT 2020 are from September to November 2020. Although the NMAT 2020 registration remains open for more than two months, it is suggested that you should complete the NMAT exam registration process in the very first month of the opening of NMAT by GMAC Registration and should Schedule your NMAT exam date. After creating your NMAT by GMAC account as a new user by filling up your name, e-mail ID and mobile number, you will receive your user ID and Password on your mail separately. You need to login to complete your NMAT application form as existing user. There are 7 pages in NMAT 2020 registration and application form. You need to complete them carefully one by one

Step-1: Fill up Your Personal Information
On the very first page, you need to fill up your identity information like your name, date of birth, age, gender, category, native language. You have to upload your photo of required size on this page. The details about your parents and your about your identity proof are also to be entered on this page

Step-4: Fill Up MBA College Preference
On this page, you can select 5 MBA/PGDM programs/B-schools where your NMAT 2020 scores will be sent free of cost. Out of the available choices, you need to choose 5 most preferred programs/B-schools. The B-schools can be selected not only from India but also from the given list of B-schools in South Africa, Philippines and Nigeria

Step-6: Agree on Declaration Form
This is the declaration form stating that whatever information you have provided on all the pages is correct and you also agree to abide by the NMAT by GMAC terms. Unless you click on ‘I Agree’, your form remains incomplete. After completing this page, you should review the complete registration and application form of NMAT by GMAC and click on save & next to continue on next page.

Step-7: Make Payment of Application Fee - Rs.2360/- (Including GST)
You need to click on submit and make payment of application fee of Rs.2000/- + Rs.360/- towards taxes online. The registration fee of Rs.2000+360 (GST)for NMAT should be paid online through Visa or MasterCard Credit Card/Debit Card/ Net Banking/American Express Card/ Diners Card, IMPS, UPI and Mobile Wallets.   • You must register and pay for the NMAT by GMAC exam before scheduling a test date and location
  • Eligibility for Registration may not be the eligibility for MBA college. So the candidates are required to visit respective university/college/school website for details of their admission procedure

Registration dates remain open from August to October 2020. To register for NMAT 2020, you should keep following in mind:

  • Keep your Computer ready: Your computer system should be equipped with Internet Explorer v.6.0 and above or Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome.
  • Gather your documents: You will need to enter all your personal details, academic qualifications upload photo and signature of required size and will have to make payment of NMAT exam fee online.     NMAT has no objection in allowing any candidate to apply for NMAT exam. However, the test taker must be aware about the eligibility requirements of the institutes to which he/she is interested in applying before registering and applying for NMAT.
