Based on the NMAT 2025 notification pattern, here are the key highlights candidates can expect in the NMAT 2026 notification. 

NMAT Notification is expected to be released by the Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) in last week of July, 2026. Once released, the NMAT 2026 notification will remain the authoritative reference document throughout the NMAT 2026 cycle, covering all exam-related policies until superseded by the NMAT 2027 notification.

The NMAT 2026 notification, released by the Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC), outlines essential details for MBA aspirants planning to take the exam. Key highlights include:

Based on last year NMAT notification, following information is expected to be included:

• Exam Structure: NMAT Notification includes NMAT exam pattern details. Last year, NMAT exam had 108 questions divided into three sections: Language Skills, Quantitative Skills, and Logical Reasoning. Each section has a specific time limit, and the total duration of the exam is 120 minutes. This NMAT exam pattern is expected to continue.
• Exam Attempts: NMAT Notification will confirm number of exam attempts available to a candidate. As per last year’s notification, candidates can attempt the NMAT up to three times within the testing window, including the initial attempt and two retakes. A minimum gap of 15 days is required between attempts.
• Testing Window: The exam is expected to be conducted over a 45-day period. This will be confirmed by NMAT 2026 notification.
• Mode of Examination: Test-takers have the option to take the exam either at designated test centers or through an online proctored mode from home. This will be confirmed by NMAT by GMAC notification 2026.
• Registration Fees: Last year, NMAT 2025 application fee was Rs 3,000 (excluding applicable taxes) for the first attempt. Retake and rescheduling fees are Rs. 3,000 and Rs.1,200 respectively. NMAT exam fees will be confirmed by NMAT by GMAC notification 2026.
