The narrative detailed an archaeological expedition led by Dr. Amelia Carter into the Amazon rainforest to discover the ancient city of Eldoria. The case detailed individual team motivations, environmental obstacles, supply logistics, and ancient library discoveries.

4. Major Assumption in making the decision: Underlying projections or suppositions arrived at by decision-makers prior to or during the evaluation process (e.g., Q20: The emotional connection with Eldoria's civilization).

Section II, Reading Comprehension, assessed textual analysis, vocabulary in context, and inferential understanding through 4 distinct passages, each followed by 5 multiple-choice questions (Q21 to Q40). The passages in TANCET 2026 featured contemporary, academic, and culturally relevant topics:

• Passage 1 (Q21 – Q25): The Digital Workplace & Workforce Evolution. Examined automation, AI integration, remote work challenges, and the necessity of continuous upskilling and a growth mindset.
