5.1. IBS MBA Admission 2024: Acceptable Entrance Exams
All the 9 campuses of ICFAI Business Schools will accept following exam score for admission 2024

5.1.1. IBSAT 2023: Exam Over on December 23 & 24, 2023
Gateway to IBS MBA Admission, IBSAT is the MBA entrance exam for admission to IBS Hyderabad and 8 other ICFAI B-schools. IBSAT 2023 exam was conducted on December 23 & 24, 2023. It was a computer based test of two hours duration.

• IBS Aptitude Test (IBSAT) 2023 is conducted by ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education (a deemed to be University).
• All the nine campuses of ICFAI Business School (IBS) accept IBSAT 2023 exam score and national exam scores for MBA admission 2024
• Last date to apply for IBSAT 2023 was December 20, 2023

5.1.1.2 IBSAT 2023 Exam Pattern

The online IBSAT 2023 exam consists of all important topics on Verbal Ability, Reading Comprehension, Quantitative Ability, Data Interpretation & Data Sufficiency. Interestingly, the Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension are two separate sections in IBSAT exam. The number of questions in each section is shared below:

• IBSAT is of moderate difficulty level exam. 
• IBSAT  is comprehensive multiple choice question (MCQ) examination with a two hours duration
• Major share in the examination is consumed by Vocabulary (English) and reading comprehension with more than 50 percent questions 

5.1.2 IBS MBA Admission 2024: Application is open with CAT/NMAT/GMAT Scores
ICFAI Business schools also offer admission opportunity through CAT/NMAT/GMAT scores.

• Scores from 2021 onwards for CAT/ NMAT by GMAC/GMAT/ SNAP/ XAT/ MAT/ CMAT/CET (Maharashtra) and any other State Level Test are accepted for admission
• Candidates with high scores in any of the above exams do not require to appear in IBSAT 2023 and may apply for MBA admission in ICFAI B-schools directly.
• The candidates should apply with their CAT, NMAT by GMAC or GMAT scores by March 31, 2024. They can update scores online. On updating of scores, Selection process call letter will be issued.  

5.1.3 IBS MBA Admission 2024: Selection Process for Applicants

• Candidates who have qualified are called for the selection process at 9 IBS campuses at IBS Hyderabad, IBS Ahmedabad, IBS Bengaluru, IBS Gurgaon, IBS Dehradun, IBS Jaipur, IBS Kolkata, IBS Mumbai and IBS Pune in February/March 2024
• The selection process comprises of Group Discussion and Personal Interview
• The final selection is based on past academic record and performance of the candidates in Group Discussion and Personal Interview
• IBSAT 2023 results are announced in January first week and based on their scores in IBSAT, the qualified candidates are called for briefing sessions
• After the briefing sessions, the candidates have to present themselves for next round of selection process comprising Group Discussion and Personal Interview. Apart from the foregoing, past academic record will also be taken into account before final selection.

7. IBS MBA Eligibility for Admission 2024
IBS MBA eligibility requirements for admission 2024, prescribed by ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education are:

7.1 Graduate in any discipline
Minimum eligibility criteria required is the graduation in any discipline with not less than 50 percent marks. The candidates in their final year of graduation are eligible to apply provided they are able to complete their graduation including any type of practical etc. examination before May 31, 2024. 

7.2 15 years of minimum education till graduation
Candidate must have gone through minimum 15 years of regular education i.e. 10+2+3 or 10+2+4 basis.

7.3 English Medium Education needed or submit TOEFL/NELT/IELTS scores
Candidates applying for IBS admission 2023 should ensure that they have studied with English as medium of instruction. Applicants not meeting the criteria of English as medium of instruction at undergraduate level are supposed to submit the TOEFL/NELT/IELTS score by May 31, 2024.
