Online MBA

IIM Ahmedabad has launched Online MBA program which will be conducted in hybrid mode. The Online MBA programme is a two-year long-duration degree granting post graduate programme offered by IIMA. The programme is primarily delivered in an online synchronous mode, suitably complemented through distinct on-campus modules. The blended learning design facilitates participants who prefer to strike a balance between a professional career and academic learning. While the programme is primarily delivered online, it retains the core strength of case-based pedagogy followed by IIMA in all the other programmes.

IIM Ahmedabad has designed the programme curriculum to equip participants with the functional and organizational skills necessary to thrive in a challenging world. The sessions that are held online through live classes are around content and are more amenable for quantitative and systematic analysis. The on-campus modules are designed to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and real-world application. The participants will get the opportunity to experience IIMA vibrant campus, foster deeper engagement with faculty and peers. This in-person interaction allows for richer discussions, collaborative problem-solving, and the exchange of valuable insights gleaned from diverse professional experiences.
Through the Online MBA, practitioners will be able to further develop into some of the best leaders and managers of the world. It aspires to upskill working professionals by exposing them to managerial decision-making frameworks that are grounded in human behaviour, economics, finance, etc. The in-person classes conducted at IIMA focus on interpersonal and organisational dynamics that are complex to manoeuvre and hard to learn. The admissions to IIM Ahmedabad Online MBA programme will be based on  following admission tests- IIMA Admission Test (IAT), Or CAT/ GMAT/GRE. Based on the test score candidate will be shortlisted for personal interview for final selection

IIMA Admission Test (IAT)
IAT is an online assessment test tailored for candidates who cannot apply with conventional test scores such as those from CAT, GMAT, or GRE. The IAT will be conducted at specific exam centres across India as well as the IIMA Dubai centre. A list of exam centres is available in the application portal.

The format of the IAT shall be similar to other management aptitude tests. IAT duration shall be 90 minutes and 45 questions shall be asked from the three sections: 
a) Quantitative Aptitude, b) Analytical Reasoning c) Verbal Aptitude
