Post Graduate Diploma in Management – Banking, Insurance & Financial Services (PGDM BIFS)

The PGDM BIFS at GIM Goa is two year full time residential programme. The BIFS programme emphasizes practical and application-oriented learning supported by theories for students to become proficient in the BIFS sector. Course content is primarily industry driven with flexibility in quickly adapting to the changing dynamics of the industry. Continual engagement with industry partners for delivery of applied content, internships and placements in undertaken.

PGDM BIFS programme offers Regular engagement of students with industry experts by way of classroom lectures, seminars and one-on-one mentorship (internships). After completion of three terms in the campus, students are required to immediately join their respective companies to do internship projects in the areas of banking, insurance or financial services. The placement for the internship takes place during the second term.

PGDM BIFS course content adapts to evolving industry needs, covering Digital Banking, Fintech (Blockchain, Payment Tech, Wealth-tech, Insurtech, Regtech), and AI for Banking. This sets GIM apart from others. Students are encouraged to work on live company projects in order to become fully capable of comprehending actual business situations and applying appropriate tools and techniques of BIFS to get enhanced insights into/around the issues/problems sensed by them so as to devise optimum solutions. The program covers various management domains, with a mix of core and elective courses, a Give Goa project, Summer Internship Project.

GIM Goa Admission Eligibility Criteria 2025 require Minimum 50% aggregate marks in Bachelor’s Degree. Candidates in the last year of degree may also apply.

GIM Goa Application should be submitted online with requisite application fees. There are four prominent application rounds to apply for GIM Goa admission 2025 including First Mover, Early Bird, Achiever Round and CAT Last date. Beginning with Rs.1750 application fee for one program, GIM Goa Application fee goes on increasing with addition of each programme in each subsequent round. For one programme GIM application fee is Rs. 1750 plus GST which goes upto Rs.4000 for all the four programs as per the application round. As below:
