Post Graduate Program In Management (PGP)

The Post-graduate Programme in Management is the flagship MBA programme of IIMK. It prepares the young and dynamic graduates for senior level positions in industry and other sectors. The PGP programme also lays greater emphasis on knowledge assimilation and its effective use than on its mere reproduction. Multiple pedagogical tools including lectures, case studies, exercises, role-plays, simulation, video shows are used to facilitate effective learning in the courses. The continuous evaluation system is rigorous comprising of quizzes, assignments, mid-term and end-term examinations. 

The programme also lays emphasis on learning through requirements of library-based self-study, group work, open-ended discussions and real life projects. The students inculcate the spirit of 'dream- innovate- achieve' and imbibe social concern as an integral part of the learning process.

The 2 year full time PGP at IIM Kozhikode has six-terms spread over two years. The first-year courses (term I to III) are aimed at building the foundations of the PGP. All students are required to complete all the first-year courses successfully.  These courses are designed to provide the basic conceptual knowledge and analytical tools in different disciplines and functional areas of management.  the first-year curriculum also consists of courses that aim at inculcating a sense of ethical consciousness and social responsibility. The first-year core curriculum is compulsory. The list of various courses includes Organization and Market Economics, Organization Behaviour, Financial Accounting, Data Analysis, Business Communication, Marketing Management, Financial Markets and Instruments, Economic Environment, Accounting, Human Resources, Information system, Sustainability & Business.

Specializations in the areas of Marketing, HR, Operations, IT, Finance, Strategy are offered in the second year during term Iv to VI.

Application process for admission at IIM Kozhikode opens with the start of CAT registration process from August first week. The application process for IIMK Admission is as below:

• Apply for CAT exam during August-September latest by the last date of  registration. 
• IIM Kozhikode Last Date to apply is same as the last date for CAT registration 
• CAT Registration Fee includes the IIM Kozhikode Application Fees
• In the CAT application form, you need to select IIM Kozhikode PGP, PGP-Finance, PGP-LSM and other programs and select the interview city
• After declaration of CAT exam result, you can check at IIM Kozhikode website whether you are shortlisted by entering your CAT registration ID and password

CAT Application form and IIM Kozhikode application form is same. You need to apply for CAT and IIM Kozhikode simultaneously. Step by Step process how to apply for IIM Kozhikode admission is as below:
