GIM Goa PGDM Big Data Analytics Admission Process 2026 is based on shortlisting candidates based on Profile, Competitive exam score and Score of GIM Analytics Aptitude Test (GAAT). There after candidates are considered for shortlisting candidates for face-to-face evaluation. A select group of candidates shall be invited in selected cities for Achievers Round. All other candidates shall be interviewed online for regular round. Shortlisted candidates will also need to complete an online Written Aptitude Test (WAT), with the date to be announced in due course.
GIM Goa Admission Process 2026
- Apply Online: This is the first step.
- Appear in GAAT Exam
- Achievers Round: If shortlisted for Achiever Round, appear in interview and get spot admission offer
- Regular Round: If not shortlisted for Achievers Round, you can get shortlisted in Regular Round based on CAT/ XAT/ GMAT scores. Merit list is released for regular round.
- Admission Letter is issued to selected candidates.
GIM Goa Achiever’s Round
The Achiever's Round of GIM Goa is a profile-based shortlisting process that evaluates candidates based on program-specific or other achievements in areas such as academics, sports, co-curricular activities, and professional experience. This round applies to all programs based on the candidate's first preference.
Candidates are shortlisted for the Achiever's Round without considering CAT/ XAT/ GMAT scores initially, which is factored in at the later stage. Select candidates from the Achievers Round receive a spot admission offer, even before their CAT/XAT/GMAT scores are available. GIM Goa Achiever Round interviews are conducted in Delhi, Goa and Kolkata.
GIM Analytics Aptitude Test - GAAT
Candidates for PGDM (BDA) will need to take an online aptitude test called GAAT (GIM Analytics Aptitude Test). This is a 75 minutes test with Multiple Choice Questions. GAAT 2026 will be held on - 1st February 2026. GAAT will be administered online. The candidates will be sent a test link for GAAT, which can be taken from anywhere at no extra cost. Every wrong answer will carry a 25 per cent negative weight.
GIM Goa GAAT test shall have the following modules, each comprising of six questions:
