Stage-1: GIM Goa Shortlist Criteria & GIM Goa Cutoff
For each PGDM programme, GIM Goa applies slightly different shortlisting criteria. GIM Goa cutoff is moderate for achievers round and slightly higher for regular round. Programme wise shortlisting criteria at GIM Goa is shared below:
Shortlist for PGDM
For PGDM, a select group of candidates shall be invited to Goa for Achiever's Round of interview process in January 2023. All other candidates are invited for Regular Round in early March at various interview centres. GIM Goa has further strengthened the shortlisting process 2023 in its Achievers Round.
A. GIM Shortlist For Achiever's Round
- Interviews shall be held only in Goa and shortlisted candidates shall be eligible to apply for scholarships.
- Candidates not shortlisted for Achiever's Round will not be eligible for scholarships. If a candidate shortlisted for Achiever's Round decides to opt out of Achiever's Round and attends Regular Round, the candidate will not be eligible for scholarship.
- Shortlisting shall be based on curricular, extracurricular, and career achievements and profile -qualification, past academic performance, and work experience of the candidates.
- The shortlist shall be drawn without XAT, CAT, GMAT score to facilitate interview process in January 2023. Scores shall be incorporated later on.
B. GIM Shortlist For Regular Round
Shortlisting for PGDM for Regular Round shall be based on XAT, CAT, GMAT, or CMAT score of candidates.
GIM Shortlist for PGDM (BDA)
- For PGDM – BDA, shortlisting will be face-to-face evaluation and shall be on the basis of profiles (XAT, CAT, GMAT, or CMAT score, qualification, past academic performance, and work experience). Shortlisted candidates shall be invited for interview process in various cities in early March 2023.
- Candidates for PGDM (BDA) will need to appear for an on-line aptitude test (called GAAT), organized by GIM to evaluate the candidates for BDA.
GIM Shortlist for PGDM (HCM)
- The PGDM-HCM shortlisting for face-to-face evaluation shall be on the basis of profiles including XAT, CAT, GMAT, or CMAT score, qualification, past academic performance, and work experience.
- Shortlisted candidates shall be invited for interview process in various cities in early March 2023.
GIM Shortlist for PGDM (BIFS)
- For PGDM – BIFS, shortlisting will be face-to-face evaluation and shall be on the basis of profiles (XAT, CAT, GMAT, or CMAT score, qualification, past academic performance, and work experience).
