IIM Tiruchirappalli Inaugural Ceremony 2025 
The new academic year at IIM Tiruchirappalli was formally inaugurated on June 23, 2025, in the presence of students, faculty, and distinguished guests. Shri Sunil Kumar, Head of the Chennai Global Business Center at the World Bank Group, delivered the keynote address. Drawing from his global experience in the Global Capability Centers (GCC) domain, Mr. Kumar highlighted the evolving skill landscape, the rising influence of automation and AI, and the creation of new roles in a digitally driven GCC industry. He urged students to complement domain expertise with ethical decision-making, soft skills, and adaptability to thrive in an increasingly dynamic world. 

IIM Tiruchirappalli PGPM Batch Profile 2025-27
The two-year full-time Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGPM) at IIM Tiruchirappalli is its flagship programme aimed at developing capable professional managers and responsible leaders. The first year covers core business disciplines, while the second year offers a wide range of electives aligned with students’ career goals. Key highlights of IIM Trichy PGPM Batch 2025-27 are as follows:

  • Total Intake: 502 students 
  • Gender Diversity: 38.25% female students 
  • Academic Diversity: 51.99% from non-engineering backgrounds 
  • Work Experience: 29.88% freshers; 70.12% with prior experience 
  • Work Experience by Gender: 43.23% female students and 86.77% male students have prior work experience. 

IIM Tiruchirappalli PGPM-HR Batch Profile 2025-27  
The Post-Graduate Programme in Management–Human Resources (PGPM-HR) at IIM Tiruchirappalli is a two-year full-time residential programme launched in 2020. It is the institute’s first domain-specific programme, aimed at developing competent HR professionals with leadership capabilities and a sound societal orientation. Key highlights include an integrated focus on HR and business, digital fluency, ethics and sustainability, skill development workshops, industry projects, and one-on-one mentoring by senior HR leaders.

Key highlights of IIM Tiruchirappalli PGPM Batch 2025-27 are as follows:

  • Total Intake: 46 students 
  • Gender Diversity: 41.30% female students 
  • Academic Diversity: 78.26% from non-engineering backgrounds 
  • Work Experience: 89.13% freshers; 10.87% with prior experience 

IIM Tiruchirappalli Convocation 2025 Highlights 
Earlier, on March 29, 2025, IIM Tiruchirappalli celebrated its 13th Convocation Ceremony. The occasion was graced by Thiru R. N. Ravi, Honourable Governor of Tamil Nadu. In his inspiring address, Thiru. R. N. Ravi congratulated the graduates and acknowledged the efforts of IIM Tiruchirappalli’s faculty and staff in shaping their success.

IIM Tiruchirappalli summer and final placements highlights are as below:

IIM Tiruchirappalli Summer Placements Highlights: 

  • 150+ companies participated, offering 290 positions to PGPM students and 30 to 
  • PGPM-HR candidates. 
  • Notable 53% increase in the highest stipend offered in the MPHL (manufacturing, pharma, hospitality, and logistics) sector. 
  • Highest stipends reached ₹3.5 lakh for PGPM and ₹2 lakh for PGPM-HR students. 

IIM Tiruchirappalli Final Placements Highlights

  •  Average CTC: ₹19.27 lakh for PGPM and ₹17.84 lakh for PGPM HR students.
  • Highest CTC offered: ₹43.94 lakh for PGPM, and ₹33.12 lakh for PGPM-HR students 
  • 23% rise in Pre-Placement Offers (PPOs). 
  • Percentage of Students Placed: Not disclosed
