About IMI Delhi
IMI Delhi was founded in 1981 by a group of leading corporates, including RPG Enterprises, ITC, Nestlé, Tata Chemicals, British Oxygen and SAIL. The institute describes itself as India's first corporate-sponsored business school. Its official documents carry the RP-Sanjiv Goenka Group branding, and it has two sister campuses, IMI Kolkata and IMI Bhubaneswar. Dr Suresh Ramanathan is the Chief Executive Officer of IMI, and Dr Jones Mathew is the Director of IMI Delhi. The South Delhi campus sits close to IIT Delhi, IIFT Delhi and Delhi University, with corporates in Delhi, Gurgaon and Noida within easy reach.
