PGDM Human Resource Management

The Post-Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management (PGDM-HRM) at IMI New Delhi is a 2 years full time residential programme. The PGDM HRM  prepares a cadre of HR professionals equipped with appropriate values, perspective, and competencies to become catalysts in developing a culture of excellence in the organization. The programme is approved by AICTE and accredited by National Board of Accreditation (NBA) and internationally accredited by AACSB, by the prestigious Association of MBA’s (AMBA).

The PGDM(HRM) porgram at IMI, Delhi is of two years duration. IMI follows a trimester system and the program consists of six trimesters. Each trimester is of 11-12 weeks duration. Apart from the six trimesters students are required to undergo a compulsory Summer Internship Program (SIP) at the end of the first year.

The curriculum is designed with a holistic approach to Human Resource Management. It is distributed among several compulsory and elective courses, and the Summer Internship Program. The first year covers compulsory courses which cover basics in various functional areas including Marketing, Finance, Human Resources and Operations. Besides, it also includes courses like Economics, Quantitative methods and Information Technology. The focus during both the years is not only on developing a manager with strong Human Resource Management skills but also to provide a balanced professional based on industry requirements.

A compulsory NGO internship during the second year is also part of the program structure. This is a four-week internship which enables students to become aware of the social and economic challenges faced by the deprived sections of the society. On completion of the first year, all students are required to undergo a Summer Internship Program of 8 to 10 weeks duration.

Classes for the PGDM program are held every day starting from 9 am in the morning and can extend up to late evening hours, including weekends, to suit the requirements of the program. Each class is of 90 minutes duration. Attendance in all classes is compulsory. 

IMI Delhi offers Merit, Merit cum Means scholarships and tuition fee waivers to the students in its various PGDM programmes. Besides, for FPM programme, IMI offers fee waivers and scholarships to full time FPM students.

• Tuition fee: 100% waiver of fee throughout the duration of program
• Learning Resource fee: 100% waiver throughout the duration of program
• Stipend: Eligible candidates will be awarded a stipend of INR 65,000/- per month. This stipend would be valid for four years from the date of joining the program
• Contingency Grant: The scholars would be eligible for a total contingency grant of INR 90,000 (@ 30000/- per annum) during the tenure after the successful completion of the course work phase. This grant may be used to cover incidental expenses like data collection, stationery, hardware/software and others.
• Conference support: The institute also provides a cumulative grant of INR 1,20,000/- for presenting research papers in domestic and international conferences. The conference needs to be fulfilling the conference norms as laid down by the institute
• Additional conference support linked to research output: The scholar who publishes in superior quality Peer Reviewed Journals will get an additional conference support grant of INR 2,00,000/- for every such Peer Reviewed Journal publication (granted after the Final acceptance of the publication has been obtained).

• Step-2: IMI Delhi Shortlist Criteria for Final Selection Round consider various quality parameters apart from considering entrance exam score including profile based shortlisting through the computation of a composite score based on different weights for multiple parameters that will include Entrance Exam Scores; Past Academic Performance; Diversity measures across multiple dimensions, work experience, etc.
• Step-3: Final Selection is based on the Personal Assessment round, which may have components like Essay Writing and Personal Interview.
• Step-4: IMI Delhi Final Admission offer will be based on entrance exam scores, past academic performance in graduation, class XII & X, Personal Assessment, quality of work experience, diversity across multiple dimensions, and extra-curricular activities. The overall objective is to identify and assess the candidate’s potential for a managerial career.

Step-3: Fill Personal Details
The next step is to fill the source of information – how did you come to know about IMI, your personal details, your father details 

Step-4: Fill Contact Details
On this page you need to fill your email id, mobile number permanent and correspondence address. Your e-mail id and mobile number should remain valid through the admission process

Step-5: Fill Academic Qualifications
On this page you need to fill your educational qualifications from class 10 onwards and entrance exam details like CAT and XAT. 

Step-6: Fill Work Experience
On this page you should fill in your full time work experience earned after graduation. 

Step-7: Make Declaration
You need to fill Applicant name and date and click on the declaration. Without this the form will not be submitted

Step-8: Make Payment
You need to make payment of IMI Application fees online of Rs. 2000+GST, if you are applying only for IMI Delhi. This is the last step after which your IMI Admission application 2024 will be submitted
