The PGDM (B&FS) at IMI Delhi was designed for the growing need for management professionals in banking and financial services. Its aim is to build managers who combine technical and managerial skills with a global mindset. The programme runs for two years over six terms and is residential. Teaching mixes lectures, case discussions, presentations, assignments and project work, with the emphasis on interactive, participative learning. Most faculty members are drawn from the institute itself, and adjunct or visiting faculty may also teach. All students complete a compulsory Summer Internship Programme at the end of the first year. At the institute level, IMI is placed in the Global Top 69 of the FT Masters in Finance Ranking 2026.

The IMI Delhi PGDM BFS eligibility criteria for Admission 2027 are common to all three IMI Delhi programmes.

  • A bachelor's degree of at least three years, in any discipline, with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent, from a recognised university.
  • Final-year students graduating in 2027 may also apply.
  • A valid CAT 2026 , XAT 2027 or GMAT score. GMAT scores from tests taken between January 2022 and January 2027 are accepted.
  • Foreign nationals are eligible on the basis of GMAT scores.

IMI Delhi offers two scholarships: the IMI Academic Excellence Scholarship and the IMI Professional Impact Scholarship. Admission Process

IMI Delhi PGDM BFS admission can be divided into following stages:

  • The candidates seeking admission to IMI Delhi PGDM BFS programme must appear in CAT 2026 , XAT 2027 and GMAT entrance exams.
  • Then, candidate should apply separately for IMI Delhi admissions. IMI Delhi Admissions 2027 application process are expected to open in the first week of September.
  • Shortlisting of candidates for the Personal Interview process will be done on the basis of the details provided in the IMI application form and their CAT/XAT exam scores.
  • The final selection of the candidates will be based on weightages of CAT scores, WAT-GD-PI, Behavioral Assessment test, Academic merit, Academic diversity, Work experience, and social diversity etc as per weightages given in Table below
