MDI Gurgaon Admission 2027: Date, Eligibility & Selection, Exam Accepted, Cutoff

Management Development Institute (MDI) Gurgaon Admission 2027 is a two-stage process: candidates must first appear for CAT 2026, then apply separately to MDI. Applications are expected to open in September 2026 (they opened on 25 September 2025 and closed on 28 November 2025 in the previous cycle), with an application fee of Rs 3,000. MDI shortlists candidates for its WAT-GD-PI round on CAT score and profile, then makes final offers on a combined weightage of CAT score, WAT-GD-PI, academics, work experience and diversity. Interviews are held in Bengaluru, Gurugram, Kolkata, Hyderabad and Mumbai. Official cut-offs are not declared; past trends place the shortlisting bar at 93–95 percentile. MDI Gurgaon offers following MBA equivalent PGDM Programs: 

• Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM)
• Post Graduate Diploma in Management–Human Resource Management (PGDM-HRM)
• Post Graduate Diploma in Management- International Business (PGDM-IB)
• Post Graduate Diploma in Management-Business Analytics (PGDM-BA)

The admission process for all the four full time PGDM programs is through a common MDI application form. While the eligibility for PGDM, PGDM-HRM and PGDM-BA are same, there are different requirements for PGDM-IB program. 

MDI final selection process for admission 2027-2029 batch of the PGDM / PGDM-HRM / PGDM-IB / PGDM-Business Analytics is a two-stage process. MDI Gurgaon shortlists candidates for the WAT-GD-PI process on the basis of candidate profile and CAT 2026 scores. Shortlisted candidates will be called for Group Discussion, Written Analysis Test, and Personal Interviews between February and April 2027 at a centre in one of the following cities: Bengaluru, Gurugram, Kolkata, Hyderabad, and Mumbai. The final selection of the candidates will be based on weightages of CAT 2026 scores, WAT-GD-PI, Behavioral Assessment test, Academic merit, Academic diversity, Work experience, and social diversity etc as per weightages given below.

MDI Gurgaon cut offs are not officially declared. However, going by the past trends, MDI Gurgaon cut offs range between 93 and 95 percentile.
