EMBA-Corporate Affairs & Management

The Executive MBA in Corporate Affairs & Management at IIM Jammu is a management programme offered in Blended Mode. Uniquely designed and developed by IICA and IIM-Jammu, the Executive MBA - Corporate Affairs & Management (EMBA-CAM) is an intensive two-year post-graduate programme to build deeper understanding of various contemporary and relevant facets in the domain of corporate affairs and management. EMBA (CA&M)  is a unique program offered by two institutes of national importance - the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Jammu and the Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs (IICA). The program is designed for mid-career professionals to enhance and advance their corporate affairs and management skills and knowledge.

The program offering in a blended mode enables the participants to balance their work and personal commitments while completing the program. The faculty members from IIM Jammu and IICA will be delivering the program. The faculty team at these institutes have a great pool of knowledge and practical experience and will bring great learning avenues through their insights to the classroom.

The Executive MBA Corporate Affairs from IIM Jammu and IICA will help the participants to build their skills and knowledge to drive their business growth effectively through responsible and sustainable practices. The minimum experience required to pursue the program is three years. The program is open to all  professionals and entrepreneurs from various industries who want to take on corporate affairs leadership roles.

The program aims to enhance and advance participants’ corporate affairs knowledge, management skills, competencies, decision-making skills and prepare them to handle complex situations and issues in the VUCA (Volatile, Uncertain, Complex, and Ambiguous) world.

IIM Jammu EMBA (CA&M) curriculum provides the participants with a comprehensive learning of corporate affairs, including corporate governance, regulatory compliance, management, and corporate social responsibility. The two-year program consists of a rigorous focus on foundation/ core courses in the first year and electives courses in the second year. The two-year program will be delivered in a blended mode, i.e. online and offline campus sessions at IIM Jammu and IICA Delhi. The two year consists of 780 hours of learning sessions spread over six trimesters. The total credits for the program will be 78 credits (72-course credits + 6 dissertation credits).

In the first year, participants must complete 36 credit units through the core courses, spread over Terms I, II, and III. In the second year, a participant must complete 42 credit units through his/her choice of elective courses spread over Terms IV, V, and VI and a dissertation.

Specializations are offered both in the areas of Corporate Affairs and Management. The Corporate Affairs Specializations are offered in the areas of Corporate Insolvency & Restructuring; Competition & Market Regulation; Business Innovation & Entrepreneurship (Startups & MSME); Financial Modelling; Strategic Alliances & Joint Ventures; Negotiation & Communication; Corporate Reputation Management; Managing across Cultures; Corporate Public Policy; Data Driven Leadership

Specializations in Management are offered in the areas of Strategic Innovations & Design Thinking; Business Intelligence and Data Modelling; Consumer Behaviour; Customer Relationship Management; Supply Chain Management; Project Management; Performance Management Systems; Leadership Development; Counseling Skills for Managers; International Trade and Finance; Big Data, Cloud and IOT Analytics; Pricing; Digital Marketing and Branding. 

Candidate should submit application online with an application fee of Rs.2000 with one of the acceptable exam score 

The Admission process for IIM Jammu EMBA programme consists of: 

• Test Score - CAT/GMAT/GRE score or IIM Jammu Admission Test (IIMJAT) Score
   
• Academic Profile –Graduation Score/percentage
   
• Personal Interview
   
• Preparation of Merit list will be based on CAT/GMAT/GRE/IIMJAT Score, academic profile, gender diversity, and personal interview
   
• The candidates with CAT/GMAT/GRE score obtained during the past three years may be exempted from the IIMJAT. The past three years would be counted from the last date of the application.
   
• IIM Jammu will strictly follow the Government of India's Reservation Policy
   
• Criteria for preparing the merit list will be based on the composite score comprising the weightage of CAT/GMAT/GRE/IIMJAT score, the academic profile of graduation, work experience, gender diversity, and personal interview 

• Pay online application fee of Rs.2000/-
   
• Relevant Test Scores of CAT/GMAT/GRE should be valid on the deadlines of the submission of the application form
   
• Download the completed online application form and send a hard copy of the same along with the relevant supporting documents and the required Receipt of online payment through SPEED POST ONLY to Admission Office at IIM Jammu. 
   
• Required documents to be enclosed are Self-attested copies of Class X, XII, Graduation and Post-Graduation degrees; Self-attested copies of mark sheets or transcripts of grades obtained in Class X, XII, Graduation and Post-Graduation degrees; Transcripts in languages other than Hindi and English must be submitted along with certified translations; Percentage conversion certificate from College/University (In case of CGPA/CPA); Degrees must be recognised by UGC/AIU; Two references with their contact details and Email IDs from academicians who have taught the candidate or with whom the candidate has worked closely on scholarly work. However, the supervisor at work could write a reference, if the candidate has been away from the university for a long period; Self-attested Copies of Work Experience Certificate (if any); Self-attested Copies of Caste Certificate (if applicable); Self-attested Copies of DAP Certificate (if applicable); Self-attested Copies of EWS Certificate (if applicable)
