Shailesh J. Mehta School of Management is an integral part and important academic unit of the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay. In 1995, IIT Bombay established SJMSoM, a Management School for nurturing innovation and excellence in all fields of management at its sprawling campus. Located in Powai, one of the northern suburbs of Mumbai, IIT Bombay is a fully residential institute, all its students are accommodated in its 15 hostels with in-house dining; the campus also provides excellent amenities for sports and other recreational facilities, rich Library, medical facilities, Gym, cafeteria, convenience store, incubation centre among others.
