To maximise your chances of securing a seat in your preferred MBA college, keep these points in mind:
Apply Separately Where Required: Apart from TANCET counselling, some private universities and institutions in Tamil Nadu conduct their own admission process. Apply separately to those institutions and appear for their individual counselling rounds.
Fill Maximum Choices: Always fill as many college and specialisation preferences as possible — this is the single most important determinant of getting allotted to a good college.
Verify All Certificates Before Upload: Errors in uploaded documents are a leading cause of disqualification at the verification stage.
Monitor Vacancy Position: After each round, vacancy positions are updated on tn-mbamca.com. Use this to make informed choices in subsequent rounds.
Retain All Acknowledgements: Keep printouts and digital copies of every payment receipt, application form, and allotment order until the admission is finalised.
Track Official Communications: Bookmark tn-mbamca.com and check it daily during the active counselling window. Most updates are notified only through the official portal and not via email or SMS.
