It is official Now! IIM Lucknow has now officially released CAT 2023 result on December 21, 2023 at 5 PM. Confirming the release of CAT 2023 result on official website iimcat.ac.in Prof Sanjeet Singh, CAT 2023 convener and admission chair at IIM Lucknow said, “CAT 2023 results are live on the CAT 2023 website.” Earlier around 12 Noon, many students were able to download their Score Card and shared them with MBAUniverse.com. The process was stopped around 1.00 PM. Now, you can download your CAT Score card 2023 from official CAT website iimcat.ac.in after login with your CAT ID and password. CAT 2023 was successfully conducted at 375 test centers spread across 167 cities in India on 26 November 2023 in three shifts.
CAT 2023 Result: Key Highlights
- Number of Candidates Registered for CAT 2023: 3.30 lakhs
- Number of CAT 2023 Test Takers: 2.88 Lakhs (87%)
- Number of CAT Toppers with 100 Percentile Increase: There are 14 candidates who have scored 100 percentile in CAT 2023. Last year 11 candidates scored 100 percentile in CAT 2022 result
- 1 Non-Engineer among CAT Toppers 2023: Out of the 14 CAT 100 percentilers, 3 candidates are from Non-Engineering back ground while 11 are engineers
- No Female scored 100 Percentile: All the candidates who scored 100 percentile in CAT 2023 are male like last year in CAT 2022.
- 29 including One Female Scored 99.99 Percentile: 29 candidates have scored 99.99 percentile including one female. Among them 22 are Engineers and 7 are Non Engineers
- 29 All Male candidates, score 99.98 Percentile: 29 Candidates have scored 99.98 percentile in CAT 2023. No female has scored 99.98 percentile. Out of them 20 are engineers and 6 are non engineers.
How to Download CAT Result 2023? Complete the Process in 3 Steps
The steps to have access to CAT Score card 2023 and download CAT Result 2023 are:
- Step-1: Visit CAT website iimcat.ac.in and click on ‘CAT 2023 Score Card Download’ at home page
- Step-2: At the Login window, you should login with your registered CAT id and password as existing user
- Step-3: Click on ‘download score card’. Now you can view and download your CAT score card. After downloading the CAT result 2023, it is suggested to take print of your score card for CAT Result 2023. Your CAT score card contains your scaled and percentile scores.

IIMs to Release Shortlist Now: Check Shortlisting Criteria
21 IIMs and other top MBA colleges have announced their admission criteria. While IIM Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Calcutta will release their shortlists in a day or two with the release of CAT result now, other IIMs will announce their shortlists after a few days. IIMs will now release their shortlists for subsequent admission processes based on CAT 2023 scores among other components. Objection Management Exercise in CAT 2023: 2 Objections accepted
After the conduct of the CAT on the 26th November 2023, the Objection Management Exercise was opened during 5th December 2023 to 8th December 2023. Many Students Download CAT 2023 Score Card at 11.30 AM
Around 11.30 AM today, Social media was abuzz with the news that IIM Lucknow has released CAT 2023 result. By 12.00 noon, many candidates shared their Score Cards with MBAUniverse.com. For the benefit of student community, MBAUniverse.com decided to publish a few scorecards. We also interviewed one of them -- Shiladitya Bhadra who scored 99.4%.
CAT 2023 Score Card Download Stops by 1.00 PM
But soon, many candidates started reporting that they are unable to download their Score Card after 1.00 PM. This led to commotion as hundreds of students connected with MBAUniverse.com and reported that they are unable to download their Score Card. “I am not able to download my scorecard. It is coming out blank!” said a candidate. “I'm unable to download the scorecard. But is the final percentile more than what we saw on various cat calculators or less…,” asked another candidate.
