BIMTECH PGDM International Business curriculum has been designed to cover general management topics with a strong emphasis on understanding and managing International Business. The curriculum is regularly updated to align with evolving industry expectations and requirements, ensuring that it remains relevant.
BIMTECH PGDM International Business curriculum places emphasis on providing relevant knowledge, with most subjects incorporating research-based projects. Additionally, the program supports professional development through Non-Teaching Credit Courses (NTCC) and skill-based courses, which help build competencies in data analysis and technology usage to tackle modern business challenges.
BIMTECH PGDM International Business curriculum also includes field experience at the ports. Students get the opportunity to visit sea ports, dry ports, and inland container depots. These visits are organized both within India and internationally, providing students with first-hand exposure to customs procedures, export/import documentation, cargo handling, warehousing, loading, and shipment processes.
Eminent persons, experts, and senior practicing managers in various fields of IB are invited to deliver lectures and participate in panel discussions, seminars, etc for BIMTECH PGDM International Business curriculum. To equip students with foreign language skill, they are offered the opportunity to take a two-trimester foreign language course in languages such as German, French etc as an elective.
Experiential learning is a vital aspect of the BIMTECH PGDM International Business curriculum, providing hands-on experience beyond traditional classroom lectures. Additionally, the program reinforces experiential learning through internships, projects, and specialized modules like “Doing Business with Emerging Markets,” “X-Culture Project,” and “Export Cluster Project.” The dissertation during the fifth and sixth trimesters is also a pivotal component of the program.
