Program Highlight

IIM Rohtak launched 5 Year IPM in 2019-20. The first batch is to pass out this year. Five-Year Integrated Programme in Management (IPM) offered at IIM Rohtak is a dual degree BBA+MBA programme. IPM is for students after class XII who aim to pursue their career in Business Management. IPM students are automatically promoted to IIM Rohtak MBA program after completing 3 years of BBA program. IIM Rohtak also offers exit option after successful completion of 3 years with award of  degree of Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA). 

Upon successfully completing academic rigor of 5 years, the participant will be awarded Integrated Programme in Management (BBA+MBA) by IIM Rohtak. The student does not need to appear in CAT or any other MBA entrance exam after completing the 3 years of BBA. IPM admission is through online IIM Rohtak IPM Aptitude Test of 2 hours duration. Entire IPM programme is divided into two parts; the first part focuses on the foundation courses, whereas the second part focuses on the management. Students will be undergoing internships at the end of every academic year

Curriculum Highlights

The 5 year IPM curriculum at IIM Rohtak consists of 15 terms spread over a period of 5 years. One year has three terms, each of 3 months duration. The entire programme is divided into two parts; the first part focuses on the foundation courses, whereas the second part focuses on the management. Students will be undergoing internships at the end of every academic year. IPM curriculum has 4 core areas: Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, and Humanities. Other courses such as Business Communication, Management Information System, Business, and Foreign Languages are also offered. Courses offered at the PG level (4th and 5th Year) will be the same as per the PGP curriculum.

IPM Students will be taught by the faculty from IIM Rohtak, other reputed institutions in India and abroad, and industry experts. The teaching pedagogy will be a combination of lectures, case analysis, discussions, exercises and seminars, role plays, management games, project work, and computer-based learning methods.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who wish to apply for IIM Rohtak IPM admission must satisfy the following criteria 

Qualification & Score: Minimum 60% marks in class X/ SSC and in class XII/ HSC or equivalent examinations (55% for the candidates from SC/ ST/ PwD category)
Age: Maximum 20 years of age 

Students Appearing in Class 12: Students who are likely to complete Standard XII/ HSC or equivalent, can also apply subject to meeting the eligibility criteria

Reservation: Reservation will be applicable as per GOI norms after meeting the minimum eligibility criteria

Aggregate Percentage of Marks: The percentage of marks obtained by the candidate in X and XII Standard would be calculated based on the aggregate marks of all subjects that appear in the mark sheet/grade sheet, irrespective of the Board’s regulation. In case the candidates are awarded letter grades or grades points instead of marks, the conversion of grades to percentage of marks would be based on the procedure certified by the Board/ Competent Authority explaining the method of conversion from where they have obtained the certificate.

Apply & Appear in IPMAT Exam: Students have to apply and appear in IPMAT exam conducted by IIM Rohtak for IPM Admission. Students have to clear the cut offs for shortlisting in IPMAT exam

Documents at the Time of IPM Registration: After getting provisional admission offer, such candidates must produce X and XII standard mark sheets (securing minimum marks i.e. 60% for General, EWS, and NC-OBC or 55% for SC, ST and PWD) at the time of registration for the IPM programme 2024 along with school leaving certificate/migration certificate, failing which the candidate’s admission offer stands cancelled.
