2. IIM Sirmaur Admission Process through SAP 2024: Key Details

Supplementary Admission Process (SAP) is conducted by IIM Sirmaur and two other CAP participating third generation IIMs for the candidates who have not been shortlisted and have not been able to participate in Common Admission Process (CAP). The shortlisting criteria for SAP 2024 have a lower CAT cut off than applied for CAP round. IIM Sirmaur reserves 50 of the seats for female students and will conduct a separate supernumerary admission interview process to fill these seats.  The first preference would be given to the qualified female candidates through the CAP 2024 process.

SAP will consist of PI round. CAT 2023 score is the sole criteria for SAP shortlisting. The Admission Committee of SAP Participating IIMs reduces the overall as well as section-wise minimum CAT cut off for all candidates to get the desired number of candidates. Since CAP cut offs are higher than the reduced cut off in SAP IIMs’ shortlisting process, there may be many candidates who have not qualified to participate in CAP 2024 process. For such candidates, these IIMs will conduct PI through separate Supplementary Admission Process (SAP). Registration process for SAP 2024 opens separately from January last week to mid February.

Only the candidates above the minimum cut-offs in the CAT 2023 sectional percentile ranks, the overall percentile rank and obtaining a positive (greater than zero) raw score in all sections of CAT-2023 are considered for shortlisting in IIM Sirmaur Admission 2024 through CAP 2024. 7.1 IIM Sirmaur Selection Process through CAP 2024 - IIM Sirmaur CAP 2024
The table below indicates the minimum performance expected from candidates to be shortlisted for the PI. However, achieving the cut-off percentile in CAT is a necessary but not sufficient condition for being shortlisted by IIM Sirmaur. For the candidates shortlisted for PI as per IIM Sirmaur shortlisting criteria, but not qualified in CAP 2024, PI will be conducted through separate process - Supplementary Admission Process (SAP) 2024. 9.3 SAP 2024 shortlisting Criteria for Female Candidates

IIM Sirmaur Admission 2024 through CAP is a five-stage process

• Stage 1: Shortlist Release for CAP 2024 Round after CAT Result declaration
• Stage-2: Conduct of PA Round comprising Personal Interview (PI). The PA process will be common to IIMs which are participating in the Common Admission Process (CAP) 2024 and SAP 2024
