After declaration of MAH CET 2020 Result on May 23, 2020, more than 330 MBA colleges will accept MAH CET 2020 scores for MBA/MMS admission 2020. The MBA/MMS admission process 2020 for all these MBA colleges including JBIMS, SIMSREE, PUMBA, K J Somaiya, Dy Patil, N L Dalmia among others, will be conducted by DTE Maharashtra through Centralized Admission Process (CAP) 2020 in the months of July 2020. The process is delayed due to Covid-19 pandemic. Registrations for MBA admission through DTE-CAP 2020 are now expected to begin in the 3rd week of June.

 

110,631 have appeared and qualified in MAH CET 2020 exam which was held on March 14 & 15, 2020. DTE Maharashtra has released the merit list of the candidates who have appeared in MAH CET 2020. The next step for the successful candidates is to participate and get through the Centralized Admission Process to get MBA admission in good B-school in Maharashtra.

MAH CET 2020: MBA Admission parameters
After the admission process, the candidate will be allocated MBA seat in the assigned college which is participating in DTE CAP 2020 on the basis of overall performance which includes MAH MBA CET 2020 score, past academic performance, quality of work experience and other achievements. The admission to these MBA colleges accepting MAH CET 2020 score is through DTE CAP 2020. 

 

Total MBA Seats in MAH CET
The total MBA/MMS/PGDM seats in these MBA colleges through MAH CET 2020 are 35000+ for 2020-22 batch.  After completion of all the CAP rounds in July 2020, some of the MBA colleges can offer admission at the institute level to All India candidates also as per the DTE guidelines. Accordingly, apart from the DTE CAP seats based on MAH CET 2020 scores and other National exam scores, these MBA colleges have institute level intake also. 

 

MAH CET MBA: Programme Types
All the MAH MBA CET 2020 participating institutes offer either MMS (JBIMS, SIMSREE etc.) in case it is autonomous, aided, private B-school, or if it is University department or University affiliated, the college will offer MBA programme for example PUMBA. 

 

On the basis of MAH CET 2020 score trends -for example low scores leading to higher percentile or high score getting low percentile, the MAH CET 2020 score cut offs will be decided by DTE for top MBA colleges. The highest score in MAH CET 2020 is 159 out of 200 marks leading to 99.99 percentile.

MBA colleges under MAH CET with Low Fee
Out of the 300+ MBA colleges in Maharashtra, all of them offer MBA on the basis of MAH CET exam scores. MBA colleges accepting MAH CET score offer low fee MBA programmes. The MBA fee under MAH CET accepting colleges is decided by the Government agency ‘Shikshan Shulka Samiti.’ The fee in these MBA colleges is in the range of Rs.1.30 Lakhs to Rs.3 Lakhs for the programme.

 

Admission Process is through DTE CAP
