Institute of Management Technology (IMT) Ghaziabad is expected to open admissions for the 2027–29 PGDM batch in September 2026 through the IMT Common Admission Process (CAP) 2027. The IMT CAP is a common application process for admission to the two-year residential PGDM programmes offered at IMT Ghaziabad, IMT Nagpur, and IMT Hyderabad. Admissions are merit-based, and candidates must have a valid score in a national-level entrance examination, such as CAT, XAT, or GMAT (if applicable), to be considered for selection.

Selection Criteria
Admission for two-year PGDM program involves a multi-stage evaluation process:

1. Shortlisting: Based on entrance exam scores (CAT/XAT/GMAT), academic performance, and overall profile.
2. Personal Interview (PI): Shortlisted candidates are called for IMT CTPI process (Critical Thinking and Personal Interview process) on the day of the interview. The PI process is conducted across 14 cities in India. The candidate can choose their preferred location in the application form.
3. Final Merit List/result declaration: The final selection is typically based on a composite score that considers entrance test performance, past academics, personal interview scores, work experience (if any).
