A household name in India, Prasoon Joshi needs no introduction… But just for records here are his key achievements. Prasoon Joshi is the CEO & CCO of McCann Worldgroup India, with additional responsibility as Chairman McCann Asia Pacific. He has won Cannes Lions, is designated as a "Young Global Leader" by the World Economic Forum in Davos and has won numerous national and international awards as a screenwriter and composer of songs. He was also appointed as the Chairperson of the Central Board of Film Certification in 2017. In recognition of his varied contributions, Prasoon was honored with the Padma Shri by the Indian Government in 2015.

Recognized globally as an Ad Guru, Prasoon Joshi's ad campaign for HappyDent gum, "The HappyDent Palace," was ranked as one of the "Top 20 Campaigns of the 21st Century" by The Gunn Report. He created defining work for mainstream brands such as Reckitt Benckiser, Coca Cola, MasterCard, J&J, Perfetti, Nestlé, GM, MetLife, Pears and Star TV; regional and national campaigns for NDTV, Dabur and Britannia; and socially relevant campaigns for causes that included malnutrition, polio eradication, women's empowerment and the Clean India Mission. Do you know that Prasoon did his BSc and Post-Graduation in Physics, then decided to pursue PGDM from Institute of Management Technology (IMT) Ghaziabad in1991. IMT Ghaziabad Alumni | Unicorn Co-founder Dharmil Sheth of PharmEasy

In news recently for the mega acquisition of path lab company Thyrocare, Dharmil Sheth is the co-founder of PharmEasy. In October 2021, Economic Times reported that PharmEasy has closed pre-IPO funding round at $5.6 billion valuation! A young entrepreneur, Dharmil completed his PGDM from Institute of Management Technology (IMT) Ghaziabad in 2013. He went on to do a few startups before striking gold in 2015 when he co-founded PharmaEasy.

The inspiration behind PharmEasy was to provide easily accessible healthcare services. He noticed many start-ups provide different healthcare services in wide ranges. But there was no such platform that provides home delivery of medicines to the needy patients. Dharmil Sheth and his doctor friend Dhawal Shah came up with the idea to build an e-pharmacy start-up. That’s how they set up PharmEasy back in 2015 to deliver medicines online.

Growing rapidly, in June 2021, PharmEasy announced acquisition of majority stake in diagnostics chain Thyrocare. PharmEasy parent API Holdings signed a definitive agreement to acquire a 66.1% stake in Thyrocare for Rs 4,546 crore! PharmEasy has a user base of 12 million, a network of 6,000 digital consultation clinics and 90,000 partner retailers across the country. It currently serves the pharmacy and diagnostic needs of more than 1 million patients. Founder of one of the most successful Unicorns in India, Dharmil Sheth and his company PharmEasy may become a Harvard Business School case study soon!

Sunil Kataria, CEO, India & SAARC, Godrej Consumer Products; Chairman, ISA

Sunil Kataria is the CEO for India and SAARC at Godrej Consumer Products Limited (GCPL). Part of 124-year old Godrej Group, Godrej Consumer Products is a leading consumer marketing company in India and owns top brands like Godrej No 1, Cinthol, Good Night and many more. Sunil joined GCPL in 2011 and has played a critical role in the transformation of GCPL’s India and SAARC business. Sunil has diverse work experience across the FMCG and consumer services sectors in sales, marketing and business roles. Prior to Godrej, he had a long and highly successful stint of 12 years at Marico Industries where he was last designated as GM - Marketing. Post this, Sunil also served as business head in two challenging service sectors: retail and telecom, leading large and complex business operations.

In recognition of his contributions and acumen, Sunil was elected as the Chairman of Indian Society of Advertisers (ISA) in September 2021. ISA is the apex national body as a strong voice to advertisers over the last 69 years. A graduate in Economics from Delhi University, Sunil did his PGDM from the Institute of Management Technology (IMT) Ghaziabad in 1990.

Sandeep Dhar, MD & India Head - Consumer Banking at Goldman Sachs

Sandeep Dhar is the Managing Director & India Head of Consumer Banking at the financial giant Goldman Sachs. Since is passing out from IMT Ghaziabad in 1988, Sandeep has had a stellar career working in leadership positions at top companies. Prior to joining Goldman Sachs, Sandeep was the President - Customer Experience Transformation at Hexaware Technologies, the Chief Operating Officer - Business Services at Capgemini and the CEO of TESCO HSC. Prior to Tesco, he was the Managing Director of Sapient Corporation in India. Before that he was the president of the $100 million BPO business at Mphasis-EDS, a business which he grew from 3000 to 10,000 people in the span of just over three years.Sandeep also spent several years with Citibank and ABN AMRO in India as well as internationally and did pioneering work in the field of Contact centres, E-commerce and M-commerce. Sandeep completed his Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management (PGDM) from IMT Ghaziabad in 1988 and has also attended the Advanced Management Program at Wharton Business School.

Sunil Nayyar, Managing Director, Sony India

Sunil Nayyar took charge as the Managing Director of consumer electronics company Sony India in April 2018. This change of guard was called a “historic milestone” by the company as Sunil was the first Indian to be appointed as Managing Director for Sony India. 

Sunil had held the position of Sales Head from April 2006 till April 2015 prior to moving to Sony North America as head of Retail Experience, the position which he held from May 2015 till March 2018. An accomplished industry professional, Sunil started his stint at Sony in 1995, as part of Sony Gulf’s sales team in charge of North and East Africa, Russia, Lebanon, Syria and various other GCC Countries. Sunil completed his Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management (PGDM) from IMT Ghaziabad in 1991.

Sumeet Narang, President (Probiking), Bajaj Auto

Bajaj Auto is indeed one of the most respected business houses in India and revered for its marketing campaigns.IMT Ghaziabad graduate Sumeet Narang joined Bajaj Auto in February 2014 as Vice President, Marketing for Motorcycle Business and is now the President for Probiking business.

Sumeet has had a stellar career in business and marketing. Prior to joining Bajaj Auto, Sumeet was the Marketing Director – Mobile for Samsung Electronics. Earlier, Sumeet was the Country Marketing Manager at Procter & Gamble. S. Sriniwasan, MD, Kotak Investment Advisors

S. Sriniwasan, popularly known as Srini, heads Kotak Investment Advisors Limited. He is also a part of the Group Management Council that drives Kotak Mahindra Group’s growth charter.Srini joined the Kotak Mahindra Group in 1993 and has played a crucial role in setting up and building the different asset classes in Kotak Investment Advisors including Real Estate, Infrastructure, Special Situations & Credit, Private Equity, Listed Strategies and Investment Advisory.

Earlier, Sriniwasan was a part of Kotak’s investment banking joint venture with Goldman Sachs since inception in 1995, and was co-head of Kotak Investment Banking until 2005. Srini is a member of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) subcommittee on Capital Markets. He is also a Board member of Asia Pacific Real Estate Association Limited (APREA) India Chapter and a member of the Governing Council of Global Real Estate Institute (GRI) – India Chapter. He is a Member of the Executive Committee at the Indian Private Equity & Venture Capital Association (IVCA) and a Member of the Private Credit Council at Emerging Markets Private Equity Association (“EMPEA”). Srini holds a Bachelor's degree in Commerce from Delhi University and completed his PGDM from Institute of Management Technology (IMT) Ghaziabad in 1988.

Parminder Kohli, Senior Vice President Europe & Africa, Shell Lubricants

London based Parminder Kohli is the Senior Vice President Europe & Africa for Shell Lubricants and has vast experience in Strategy, Business Development, Marketing, Sales & Operations across 7 Industry Verticals, 3 continents and 4 organizations. As Senior Vice President Europe, Middle East & Africa for Shell Lubricants business, he shoulders responsibility for delivering the bottom-line of the business in 110 countries within the region.

Prior to this he headed Business Development, Marketing & Operations globally for Shell’s Fleet Solutions business serving Fuels and Mobility Services to B2B customers. In this role he was accountable for Digital transformation of the business, new market entries in China, Indonesia, India and Mexico in addition to managing world’s largest fuel card transaction processing platform. Parminder was also CEO of Shell and Vivo Lubricants, a pan African JV between Shell, Vitol the world’s largest crude trader and Helios an Africa-based private equity fund. Parminder completed his PGDM at Institute of Management Technology Ghaziabad in 1994.
